Synopsis
Genevieve is brought up into a harsh Catholic doctrine which contradicts the moral values it preaches. Rape, theft, lies, and schemes are the life normalities. Above all, Eve’s own family treats her with little love and a little too much control. Her dress code is plain, her hobbies are limited, her friends are non-existed, and in due time, she is to be betrothed to a stranger. Determined to evade her bleak fate, Genevieve, a firm atheist and an unyielding seeker of freedom, finds a way to escape her tyrannical home by the least expected route - by becoming a nun and moving to Quebec into the abbey of Saint Mary, far away from the prying eyes of her family, where she rediscovers her faith, unfolds the dark secrets of her origin and finds love through the destructive relationship with…the devil.

OMG, amazing novel, more for a mature public but I did enjoy reading the series. The atmosphere and the author's style of writing along with the font is what really brings the book to life. And my vivid imagination really helps a lot! Great job and keep those chapters coming!!! IT WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE FOR ME!!!
This book was recommended to me by my friend, so I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did! I don’t don’t read that often, but this one got me hooked. I absolutely love everything about it and can’t wait to see more of the main characters
So I guess it’s a slow burner? I wasn’t Sure at first if the book is fiction or non fiction but when she conjured the spirit I was like ohhh I see now 🥲 I hope the writer reacts to this comment but I love how mature it is, I do read a lot of teeny stuff and it said teen based. actually Got hooked. I do enjoy reading About good and bad so that was a find. Hopefully it keeps coming, cuz some writers forget about their work too fast. But yay, can’t Wait for more 😅
Alright, I read this novel a bit. It is lengthy slightly. However, it is captivating. That I mean every word (emphasized). The dialogue will get you hooked up and the background well described. The characters were showing off their real qualities as though it was reality. This means, there weren't faking those. This story is a good read. I wanted to read more before sharing my thought. Needless to say, it is fine either way. I don't want to forget about it. So, I just did it. Nice one...keep it up... Another things there was literally no grammatical error in the first chapter. Excellent job..
This book is easy to read, easily catches the plot and does not let go. I want more and more new chapters. Fantastic, thank you. I hope this book has many chapters, I look forward to it.
Stunning dialogues, characters’ profiles and choice of words. I’ve read other reviews here and agreed with its maturity. For adult audience, and with so much wisdom displayed in pretty much every Chapter, there is definitely something for everyone to take home and think about. I would love to see it in print. I personally enjoy paperbacks for their feel of authencity and this would definitely be yet another book to cherish in hands. Thank you author for this experience!
Big thanks to the author for speaking up their mind. It’s really a controversial Subject and I don’t Believe many publishers would allow it on their platforms. Luckily Webnovel is outstanding at letting writers use their own voices. I was not expecting the book to be so deep but if you have time you should read it. I waited until I could give the tenth review.😈 I saw this book's link on a discord channel accidentally and decided to check it simply for the cover. It screamed at me: twisted, dark, toxic! Exactly the kind of red flags I dig but have a hard time finding because the market is stuffed with the red flags I don't fancy: 🚩No CEO's rapist. CHECK 🚩No mafia gangster. CHECK 🚩No good girl changes the bad boy. CHECK. 🚩No thousands of years old vampires/demons/evils/you name it...suddenly falling for the first Virgin Mary they see, because according to them most women are gold-digging bisches. CHECK. 🚩No wronged villains, that aren't actually villains, but just poor kids that were bullied in their childhood. CHECK. 🚩 The main 'capture target' isn't the most handsome man in the whole universe. TRIPLE CHECK. The evilest character in the book sticks to his disgusting nature, and character, and won't change because he gets to meet the female lead, and I simply love it. Both main characters will remain in your memories forever as one of the most unique individuals. The raw emotions portrayed in the author's writing made me feel so high for a moment. Similarly to the sheer happiness of finding a hidden treasure that had yet to be discovered. I just wanted to share and recommend it to everyone I knew. That's how impactful it is. This should be available for sale in the book stores. I believe that one day, I'll have a hard copy of this book by my bedside. Thank you for this masterpiece.
