It's a decent chapter. You get to know the characters a bit and you get to know their appearances a lot. I like how it is simple and introduces the readers to the probably main characters, but it can lack feeling at times and seems superficial to me and it feels like it is putting down some people who are just being themselves. There are some grammatical errors that I believe every book has, but it's readable. However, it's just one chapter and I hope it can improve and give the readers some insights into the character's mind and feelings. Also, I don't read books about demons and things similar much. So, I am not well aware of how those novels related to demons work. And again, it's the first chapter. I don't know how the updating stability will be in the future, so I gave it 5 stars.

So this actually isn't an accurate rating since you only have one chapter I can't give you stars on stability of updates - which brought the rating down a lot. Now into the actual review. I really enjoyed this a lot and I want to continue with the story. Your writing quality is pretty good, although there were a few mistakes here and there. I feel like this was a pretty solid first chapter although I do wish there was just a sprinkle more of the main plot. I think you could have expanded upon your character design a little bit more but I think it was good for the first chapter. I'd like to see you go into more detail in the future. As of now I have a pretty okay idea of the characters in my head. My biggest complaint is the world background and time-frame. I didn't get a feel for the world at all other than a beautiful house and even then I wasn't sure if he was referring to his house or a random one he was passing by. As for the time frame, I was really confused. You mention that he recently moved and that the route he took to school was foreign to him and today was his first day of school. However, you also make it clear that he's well known in his school, already has a solid friend group and mentioned that he's been at the school at least since the second day of secondary school. So, did he just move to a different house in the neighborhood? I think that would be the biggest regret for this first chapter which I don't think says much since it was still a very enjoyable read despite that. Good work!

So far I liked the way the story is slowly building up. The slow encroaching of the elements of the demons and how the world around them all is slowly changing. All of that is well done and well thought out. The writing is also pretty good and engaging. I'm intrigued enough to know what happens next. As a person interested in the demons and angels and all that lies in between, and not finding a good book dealing with them, this was an excellent read for what it was.

Yello first to review huh? First of all the plot is unique, however the synopsis on the other hand could use some work. The errors are not that bad except for punctuations like excluding commas in a quotation and capitalization. Apart from that it's quite intriguing, I urge you to keep writing.
