Synopsis
Bethany Gale is a young woman wishing to venture into a new life after being fired from her job. Her life takes a sudden turn when she accepts a job as an assistant and meets her new boss Anthony Funari, who also happens to be the leader of a mafia group. Bethany is plunged into a life she never thought she would experience.
While trying to get revenge for what has happened in his past, will Anthony be able to protect the woman he unexpectedly fell in love with? Or will the danger of his life catch up to them, possibly putting Bethany in harm’s way?
Anthony wants out of this lifestyle because after meeting Bethany he realizes there is more to living than violence. But will his uncle find a way to put a stop to that and keep him stuck in the family business?

This story is fantastic! I simply cannot stop reading it. Beth and Anthony's relationship, and the challenges they face from the mafia, has me on the edge of my seat every chapter. I wonder what will happen with Uncle???
WOW, such a relatable start! I am in love with how this is going so far! I feel for Bethany just trying to live her life, and how the love interest goes above and beyond for her is just really tender. I can't wait to read more!
