Synopsis

Thousands of years ago, werewolves lived in hiding, terrified that their small number would go extinct under the human’s cruel act.
Thousands of years later, they rose in power and commenced an all-out war against the human race. And they won, spectacularly.
They could have sat on the pinnacle of life if not for the plague. The disease spread only among werewolves and the Infected would gradually lose their minds and transform into malevolent, bloodthirsty creatures; one that threatened the lives of werewolves and human survivors alike. There was no cure, the same way as nobody knew where the plague came from or how it spread all around the world. The world was heading to its destruction. The moon no longer shone, ocean tides fell and drought spread everywhere, the night was so dark that they were unable to see the hands in front of their faces, and the length of each day turned shorter and shorter.
They called it ‘The Moon’s Curse’ as they believed that the Moon Goddess was enraged by their greed and tyranny thus decided to inflict punishment on them.
Amidst such precarious times, Shalei awoke and found herself at an utter loss. The last thing she remembered was being kidnapped from school and the syringe that was stabbed into her neck, rendering her unconscious and then…nothing.
As if the presence of werewolves wasn’t shocking enough in her otherwise ordinary and mundane life, Shalei was suddenly acknowledged as the Moon Goddess? What the hell was going on?! She definitely didn’t sign up for this!

Such an interesting plot! It's kinda unique and I love the author's writing style. She has a way with words. So far, I'm loving the story and the interactions between our FL and ML. It's cute, funny, and... undoubtedly hot! Keep up the good work💛💛
What a great start to this story! I‘ve come from reading Delanasiwarka’s other books, which are also real gems if you haven’t read them yet. Love the characters of Shalei and Seth- a strong and pretty confused female lead and a sweetheart of a male lead. We’ve just met very briefly and super mysteriously the second male lead- other then powerful and great at hiding his presence not much is known at the moment. Just like Shalei, the reader peels back the layers of the story to understand the full picture that is being shared with us. Delanasiwarka is very good at writing tightly woven stories that don’t fail to make you gasp in shock, cry at the drop of a word, laugh out loud, and aah for what seems like days. Her foreshadowing game is strong 😊 and there is nothing better than trying to piece the glues together of what on earth is going on alongside the main character. Can’t wait to read more! Please note although the release rate has been reduced- I still gave this a 5* because she always gives a heads up when that’s happening. I’m hoping when she’s not so busy she’ll up it once more but five stars is what it’ll remain 🥰
