Synopsis
How far are you willing to go for family?
In the universe, powerful beings beyond anyone's comprehension live in the depths of the unknown. These beings consist of the Grand Order a powerful entity that little is known about and Calamity gods, those that warp time and space in order to fulfill the Grand Order's will.
Each century, a Calamity god is selected from the planet of an intelligent race in order to ensure the continuity of their race as Calamity gods are not immortal. This selection process is a long and difficult one, with the strongest of that race becoming a god.
Cree, an orphan boy who had been adopted by his close friends family is put to the test when he comes across the worse news of his life. His foster parents and sisters die in a car accident leaving him with his close friend, Callum. Unable to live with this, Callum ultimately tries to commit suicide. While trying to convince his friend not to do something so stupid, things end in the worst way possible as the world changes unexpectedly and drastically.
While grieving the loss of his close friend, he comes across a Calamity class being, Claire, who has taken some interest in him. She proceeds to tell him that it may be possible to bring back his friend if he was to become a Calamity god, however in order to so, he would have to be the most powerful being on Earth by conquering 'Rift cubes' that appear in this new terrain.
Cree goes along with this plan unaware that the power he gains may cause him to lose his humanity. Little does he know it may cause him to be a terror that roams this new apocalyptic world.

Awesome, just awesome[img=recommend]. I like the way the story is going and I even though it is just the starting point of it, I feel like there is something different about this story. Nice job author, Can't wait for more chapters[img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update][img=update]
I think it is about time, I the shameless author gives a review. I believe the synopsis and tags have already explained everything. If you have any questions I am here to answer them as well. I know one of the tags is overpowered but the MC will still have some struggles along the way, trust me. Well, since that is all out of the way, let's get moving. Hope the novel keeps up to your expectations.
It's a very promising story, with amazing descriptive writing. The author's dynamic storytelling makes it very compelling but also easy to follow. It's also fairly unique, which is a plus. Very high potential.
The writing quality is good and doesn't break immersion. Stability of updates seems to be varying from once a day to once every four days, hence the low rating. Story development seems fine, everything is slowly introduced and there is no abruptness. Unable to judge character design so far, the only flaw I have seen in the MC is how quickly he got over his grief. World background is fine but a little lacking.
Don't really have too much to say about the novel. The novel is unique in it's own way and I really like it for that. It's these type of stories I believe are very hard to find. All I can say is that I will be following this author's works.
To be honest I like the author's writing style alot. This novel is filled with just the right amount of drama and the characters reactions and actions are darn understandable. From everything I have seen so far the author makes the characters seem like real human beings. Nice job author, can't wait for more chapters 😁
Very open concept and interesting plot progression so far. Although it has a system but not a typical Korean RPG Dungeon. I got hooked by the steady execution of the story. The characters behaviours and thoughts were on point, (it didn't feel like reading an otaku gamer mc boosted with power care nothing but himself). I hope author can keep up with the quality, can't wait for more release.
Your work is much better than mine. Besides some minor grammar mistakes that can be easily overlooked, there seems to be no problem whatsoever. I can say for sure that you found the "sweet spot" between describing the environment where the action happens, the relation between the characters, and the dialogue. And, yes.. the description is top-notch. Nothing too detailed, but neither missing. I suggest that you think about having some scenes where the characters chat/do their hobbies and let us know their personality better/get closer to them. But make sure it's interesting by adding something fun or intriguing.
I reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaallllllyyyyyyyy like this novel so far. I am a big fan of the world being built. I check like every 30 min I’m awake hoping for more updates haha.
I just finished reading your book and I left a review It was a pretty good story when it came to the writing quality and story progression but it seems like you were playing the story safe and you didn't go for any bold story decisions The book is great but I don't think it's something that's really rememeberable and unique cuz I've read a few books on WN but I know you'll write something really good But all in all your book was really good and entertaining
The novel has an exciting start. The story unfolds at a pace that is just fast enough to enjoy the action and explore the new world with the main character. After reading chapter 7, I was disappointed because I couldn’t find a logical explanation for what happened. But… Keep reading! There’s an excellent explanation later in the following chapters. Chapter 12 was the next chapter when I began having doubts about the novel. I wanted to keep reading about the main character and not a long side story. Again, keep reading. It all comes together :)
I am really liking the story so far. Upon reaching chapter 7, I started to feel something tell me that this story will be kinda unpredictable in some ways. It also gives me the vibe that a lot of people are going to die...I mean like a lot. Anyways nice job author, can't wait for more chapters 😁
