Synopsis
THE WORLD HAS FALLEN... BY DYING, I WILL SAVE IT!
The fantasy VRMMORPG “Path of the Immortal” obsessed players across the world with its challenge: be the first to reach Floor 100 of the Eternal Tower, and your wish will be granted.
But when an unknown player achieves this, the real world changes forever.
The game’s AI merges with a human brain, giving birth to a biotechnological entity which simply calls itself “God...” and then takes over the world.
If humanity will escape a horrible fate, Alexei must go back in time and stop “God” from rising to power... by killing his real body and living on within Path of the Immortal’s code as the versatile Monk class.
Alexei lived a miserable first life. Path of the Immortal gave the opportunity for real-world riches to its strongest players, but Alexei failed to achieve this.
Now, given the chance to live again through the VRMMO’s first days, Alexei will do more than just stop the fall of the world... he’ll use his years of game knowledge to prove that he’s not the same weakling that he used to be!

Awesome novel! I've gotten completely addicted to your story. The plot is slightly overused but still original. Well, how do I put this... MC going back in time to save the world type of plot, but the objectives, enemies, and settings are totally different from what I've mostly read. The world is intriguing and unlike anything I've heard before. The fact that there is a 'GOD' ai is still a bit confusing to me and would like to know more about it. I have a lot of questions about it, like why is it evil? Why does the MC want to stop it other than to save the world? How did it become 'GOD'? The MC is smart, catches on to things quickly, and actually relatable. The story progresses at a perfect steady pace, giving enough time for the reader to actually understand and feel the feelings while also moving fast enough so that the reader doesn't get bored. The descriptions are on a whole nother level. They are vivid, visualizes the scene and situation perfectly and actually immersive. There weren't any confusing sentences so far and the action parts were really enjoyable to read. Most of the explanations were logical, natural, and some of them are actual facts. I learned several things that I didn't know while reading this novel. Respect to the Author for doing his research! Lastly, the thing I like most about this is the writing style. It's amazingly appealing, and catches my attention instantly. The sentence structures go well with other sentences and conveys the feelings the author wants. Some of the parts are witty and there are a few relatable sentences and jokes here and there. As a fellow author, I really envy your way of writing and would really love to learn to write like that. In short, I'll give this book a 9/10. I had to deduct a point because your work was so brilliant it made me jealous! Please teach me your way of writing, I simply can't get enough of it! Definitely going to keep reading to the end, no matter how many fast-passes I might have to sink in the future. To everyone reading the reviews, I would 100% reccommend this, especially if you like system and video-games genre. PS: I'm actually serious about wanting to learn from you. Would really appreciate if you can teach me.
This review is a part of swap. I like this story, but it's quite confusing at first, how could an AI be a god? What about those people who didn't play the game? surely not everyone could play such a game. I have alot of questions and I hope we get an answer as the story goes. Overall the story is good and recommended, it has lots of room for improvement.
The book is so amaizing everything about it is well structured.I've only read 9 chapters but i'm already so absorbed in it .keep up the good work
I am not really a fan of gaming books but the book was interesting. The character and plot were well developed. However, I feel that to help the reader understand the urgency of Dr Wu's experiment. The author should have given them a better insight into 'GOD' tyrannical rule. That way the reader would understand why Alexiel and Dr Wu were willing to risk their lives. instead of making it feel like they were doing so because the writer said so or because the plot needed them to do so.
Love the plot💖 although I was a bit confused while reading the first few chapters. The story is amazing, one of the best gaming stories I've read. Good work author👍😊

Even though there are a lot of stories about gaming and computer but this one is unique in all of them, the world background, character, and grammar is really good.

Great potential story. The theme the author went for also peeked my interest. The sypnosis is also interesting. Good choice of words, good and solid grammar, it's really nice to see new stories blossom into amazingly popular stories, good work author!
As the author, I'm doing everything in my power to make this a five-star story! Here's to many Onion Knight-filled adventures across a fantastical and totally-not-horrific-and-existentially-crippling MMO world.
I've always been a fan of visceral violence/ horror mixed with fantasy elements and I feel that this novel delivers. I loved the grotesque details of the actions as well as the implications of the kind of the world this story takes place. While the writing can be good, even phenomenal at points, it can use a bit of polish in sentence structuring. There is also some repetition but not a lot to really hinder the experience. Overall, this is the kind of story that you want to read if you want to clean your palate from the usual fantasy story.
