Synopsis

As Ayanokouji and his classmates begin their second year at the Advanced Nurturing High School, they're greeted by a fresh gauntlet of exams and a fresh batch of rather unique first-year students. They'll have to get to know each other quickly, because the first special exam pairs the first-years with the second-years on a written test--with only the second-years facing expulsion if their team performs poorly! Worse yet? It seems one of the new first-years is also from the White Room. Can Ayanokouji avoid expulsion while sussing out the identity of this hidden foe?

I have enjoyed a lot and I can't get enough of it. This novel woahhh ❤️❤️❤️ not only I love it, am more addicted to it. My Kiyotaka let's meet soon 😔😊🤗.
I'm hooked. This LN reads like a book from one of my favorite genres : Intrigue. I'm relatively new to the artistic media trinity that is Light Novel/Manga/Anime, having begun in earnest about 3 years ago. And I have become VERY invested in this particular story. I was first introduced to it by means of the anime series. My jaw dropped at the end of the final episode of season 1. All throughout, we, the viewers, were allowed to hear Ayanakoji's inner monolgue. We were freely invited to see how the wheels in his head turned. He was enigmatic, which, in turn, made him magnetic. We heard his mental notes : "Interesting", "Hmm", and the like. We saw him stealthily contributing in ways that were beneficial to the class and to individuals, all while denying any involvement. Rather, he was consistently shifting the credit to others. Yet --- he appeared to be a walking contradiction. Because, despite whatever good came out of his way of helping, it seemed that something was missing. There was an astonishing lack of warmth His actions were not those of a selfless person. They were clandestine, shadowy, and disaffected. That kept me wondering why. I am intrigued by stoic characters in stories. Great authors know how to keep that character's true intentions away from others within the plot, as well as from us, the readers. If the author is especially gifted at this craft of storytelling, things finally resolve in a way that we never saw coming. And the final seconds of Classroom of the Elite season one? I never saw it coming. Ayanakoji's chilling, detached, private monolgue as the credits were rolling made me do a Keanu Reeves. "Whoa . . . " I needed to get to the source material as fast as humanly possible. In short order I am thoroughly enjoying this amazing work of art. It's very much a page-turner, leaving me checking back repeatedly for the next installment. I'm here till the end. It has not disappointed me once. And I'm confident the end will leave me feeling the same way.
Best book ever. It has a realy good story . The mc is perfect for this verse. The sie carakters have a nice backstory and it is realistic . My option , it is a perfect book Best novel for me PS my enghlish is not the best , i'm from germany

Great series overall and doesn't disappoint like the anime because it is nothing like the anime and does everything right/improve where the anime is wrong, And It builds up it's characters and develops THEM for future volumes and plans ahead of time. No character Is truly useless here and everyone will atleast get one chance to show their TRUE strengths and personalities which to me personally is the best part of the COTE. Main character is good and enjoyable and a lot more than what I thought he would be.

Honestly amazing novel, the writing depth and quality is astonishing, the characters and their unique thinking process makes it a very enjoyable read overall, cant wait for what else Kinugasa has thought for the series, will wait with high expectations.

Absolutely amazing best school hierarchy light novel out their . ✨ From the characters to the storyline and the character development . This did not disappoint. Just finished yr 1
Well I suppose my rating already speaks for itself, but I'll still write more. As the continuation of the light novel that I love the most, this is just too good for words. The character development, plot, suspense, twists, everything is top notch. One of the calmest and coldest MCs I've ever seen. The plot is far, far away from the usual cliche routes and is seriously realistic at times. The translation was amazing throughout. All in all it was an amazing read (tho the latest volumes are ongoing) and, I'd totally recommend you to try reading it. Like seriously. You won't regret it 😉
