Synopsis:
Being the son of a romance author has put unrealistic ideas in Henry's head.
Despite his bad luck of being born a peasant, he can't help daydreaming whenever he sees a knight in shining armor riding away with a beautiful lady.
Someone like him isn't supposed to be anything but a stable hand - working hard until his last breath just like his father. So why does he feel so compelled to seek out a life much greater than he could ever hope for?

I love this novel!!! MC makes me have all kinds of feels. The side characters are also interesting. It’ refreshing to find such a great novel in a sea of books, this one is a real gem.
So far this is a great start! we know mcs goal and we clearly can see his ambitions as well. there's also already an internal conflict within just 2 chapters with Henry not thinking he's good enough to be a hero. Some mystery, and fighting as well. the Grammer is very too, so this is shaping up to have a lot of potential, more chapters please!
From chapter 1 I already knew I'll love to read this, well written and descriptions are so cinematically worthy. I love this book and i wish the author all the best
The characters have personality. The mc seems legit. He acts like what someone in those ages with his living conditions would act.
This Novel is so worthy of reading, The MC is so much fun to follow as he grows and develops. The sword and fight scenes are over the top some of the best I have ever read. Author-Nim has a way with details that draws you into the story and keeps you engaged. I have binge read this book and can't wait each day for the next chapters to release. The grammar is on spot and the flow and pacing of this book while you read is smooth. Take a chance and give it a try. I promise you won't be sorry.
B-E-A-UTIFUL is all I have to say. So well written. The writing quality is practically impeccable, and the updates are almost daily. The story developed at a slow but steady pace, making it enjoyable. The characters are well-designed and described. The world is well explained, and the village is described in detail. All in all, this is a beautiful start to very interesting novel :) Keep up the good work :)
Everything about this novel is great. From story development to it's realistic elements. Also I like strong MC's like that. If only chapters could be longer...
It was so good. I'm glad it ended well. I'm sad it's over. I'm angry that it's over. I cry because it's over. It was so good I thought I was going to die!
The fighting scenes are spectacular and clear. It is so perfect that just reading this —once— will make you an expert in dark souls. The pacing is smooth and unique; the dialogues are something to look forward to as they show the character's emotions, goals, thoughts, and future. The planning, logistics, and world-building are extremely accurate alongside the ranks and lands. The writing style is easy to read while also being well put, and the descriptions give you a clear view of what is happening. The Romance is steady, not too fast, not too slow, just the right amount to have you at the edge of your seats. And that is all, why are you still reading this … and not the book itself?
This is a great read!! I am only on chapter 62 so far but I am really enjoying it. The character is still young but he’s definitely someone I like reading about. I have a lot more to read but I’m definitely excited to read more and I hope the chapters keep going for a long time.
The main character is a reflection of what most men want in life. This story is extremely relatable. The author's writing style is very good as well; you will never be confused when reading it.
I have very much enjoyed this book, I find the mc to be very relatable, his thoughts mirror mine, thus I like him so, His wish to become something greater than what he is, hold a very nostalgic feeling which reminds me of when I was younger, when I wanted to be a hero, or someone everyone looked up to, the Mc is a living product of me if I had chosen to hold onto all those beliefs all those years ago. I love this novel, it's so hard to find something as captivating on the platform. I'm only at chapters 47-48, but I'm really looking forward to reading the rest.
*Despite being in the FL category this story is ML!!!* I come to you humbly as the author, believing this work deserves a 4/5. The title is an ode to the more ridiculous titles I've seen floating around WN. The titles are ridiculous but the stories themselves are mines of gold nuggets. I don't want this story to be a typical weak to strong or romance. I want it to keep you guessing with every chapter. I am practicing using a different tone with this story and I hope you enjoy it in comparison to my other work which is a more typical romance, trope heavy fun time. The grammar is getting better and I believe the story flows nicely. Please consider giving me power stones for the romance competition!!
