Synopsis
In this brutal world ruled by the law of the jungle, Ximen Wei is driven by his desire to return home and escape his past regrets and feuds. This review contains some spoilers for first few chapters. Writing quality - Compared to the standard of Wn, the writing is top notch. It's descriptive and detailed. Story development - Not much to say as only read first 5 chaps. Character Design - The mc is interesting to say the least, but also feels like a typical one. When his village was raided, people and his own mother met brutal end but at that time he only thought of himself. This tells a lot about his character. Just what is his experiences in the past life for him to become like this? Or was he born like that? Only by reading further will we able to know. Updating Stability - I have personally talked with the author and I know that the stockpile is huge. So updates will be pretty stable. World Background - Again not much to say but that the world will be harsh and brutal. Overall, SpaceMage is highly recommended.

started reading todayn i think this story has great potential so imma give it a 5. The only think im worried about is that the author may drop it in like 50 to 100 chapters.

The first part had alot of descriptions, but aside from that its all good, The world is varied The characters are good And the mc is, not sure at the moment, but ill add when i do.

The story was engaging and captivating, and I found myself fully immersed in the world and characters. The plot was well-crafted and thought-provoking, and I found myself constantly on the edge of my seat. The author did an excellent job of bringing the story to life and making me feel like I was a part of it.
The characters were well-developed and relatable, and the plot was both thought-provoking and emotionally charged. I found myself completely immersed in the story, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of connection to the characters and their struggles
This mc has no sense of connection to this world and his original mission is to go back home to his loved ones and in order to do that he would massacre people and do all evil.. That just makes no sense.. he never questioned about what his loved ones would think of him if they knew what he has done..
Great world building and character development. Although some parts are hurried like the Criminal District "arc" and a lot of things are missed such as the part where MC joins the Long Gang, it's still a great story nonetheless. The power system "Qi", although is not unique, is still comprehensive and interesting. I love the paths part ("wind-path", etc...) because it makes the story fun to read and adds in unpredictable elements. It leaves a lot of room and leeway in the future for the author to introduce bizarre and fun paths. The character Ximen Wei is a bit conservative but he is smart and takes risks when his life is put ont he life. I love how the feelings of loneliness and despair are amplified in this novel because such emotions are not stressed enough in the other counterparts, when someone finds himself in an alternate world, the feelings of nostalgia and homesickness will certainly overwhelm his mind, which is exactly what happened in Space Mage. Overall, this is a great novel and I'm looking forward for future updates.
