Since chapter 356 and later is different novel. what's wrong?. need author to fix it.
A pretty good trial read compared to its counterparts this week. The story progresses at a reasonable pace, and while the summary of the novel seems exaggerated, after reading, you will realize that the powers he achieves are from continuous effort and not a one off boon at the beginning of the story. The character personality for the main character is well developed; however, since there are only twenty chapters released, other characters and upcoming new characters may not have had their chance to truly show their respective distinct characteristics.
since chapter 356 are copy/paste from other novel. already reported to admin since 4 days ago. hope it will fix otherwise it's cheating .
at chapter 354 and up..Lin Yan will be no more instead Chu Feng and Lou yiyi will be the main lead with different plot and story overall.what a rollercoaster
Solid 3, neither good or bad, author is newbie. Review based on raws till chapter 171. The ability is not explained well in synopsis, his ability is acctually giving birth to Bodhi trees which have special abilities and first one being Black Jade Bodhi which results in creation of special effectc after mastering 100% proficiency, in the raws there is already second Bodhi tree and conditions for thrid one as well. Contrary to some comments I would say his abilities are overpowered just with Detoxification, Rejuvenation he is able to dominate in newbie village with difference in realms, but as there is more contact with prefecture level his advantages diminish making him comparable with prefecture level genius in terms of combat strenght, but nothing over the top like defeating enemies two-three big realms that are also genius which I think is a good thing, his abilities from first Bodhi tree result in a strong support and high survivability, abilities from second Bodhi tree are also more of a support type which will help MC bridge the gap with other geniuses. For now nobody gives him too much attention as realm progresses support from family/sect/school becomes crucial, so MC is underestimated. Regarding a comment that mentiones his contract for being instructor, there is a difference from accauntant slave contract as contract will become void when he reaches a certain level of stenght, plus he needs protection, money and free teaching of Dragon Fist, while the wage was 2 taels of silver I think the actual benefits add up to 7 taels of silver all this for a lesson every week, 7000 coins vs 500 from slave contract. Further on, his strenght and mastery of Five Birds Hand is recognized and he becomes a little more respected, not sure if this is the right place to drop the novel, to me it seems like there will be places that more worthy of dropping the novel. At some point, it feels like author got some inspiration Lord of Mysteries, but the execution is lacking, a quite few places that are overly mystified as if trying to keep readers in suspense then MC solves the mysteries resulting in some king of satisfaction for readers as world setting becomes clearer, Mysterious enemies among humans, Mysterious outside enemies like demons that threaten humanity, Mysterious technology, Mysterious relatives and so on. In reality execution becomes an information dump resulting in a few very boring and tedious chapters I would say this is my biggest concern, better authors mastered the skill of keeping the readers interested, be it good balance of fights and explanation of world setting or sprinkling just enough novelty as to make the readers binge and wait for new chapters, while here this flow is broken from time to time resulting in some fructration. Redeeming qualities would be interesting abilities, second Bodhi tree will support MC in mastering 100% of the skill which is rare in itself at his small city level most stop at 65%, so 100% makes his foundation stronger closer to that of geniuses from big forces plus special effect from first Bodhi gives his that extra advantage. Fourth big realm requires special method that are in hands of big forces here MC is forced to create his own path, which is still unclear in the raws, but maybe it will something interesting, plust help from his cheat makes is possible. A few good side charaters, while most of them try to exploit weaker people at every opportunity and no care for their lives, at first withing his newbie village then people from prefecture look down upon his small village, as novel progresses the reason becomes clearer and is pretty reasonable. For now I will keep reading and see how the novel continues to develop, but chapters are small and rating in China are lackluster, so future is uncertain

Great novel, but from chapter 356 and on, it becomes a whole different novel. At first I thought it was from a higher world setting, but it’s not even the same story. If you look at the chapter name, it doesn’t seem the same as before

Read to Chapter 37. I really want to like reading this but I just can't. The "special ability" of the MC is unique. It is not overpowered and it actually requires the MC to fight and do stuff to progress. But in the beginning of the story, the MC refuses to sign a contract to be an accountant because it would make him basically a slave to the rice house. The benefits would be being paid double. when he got accepted to an academy to learn martial arts, due to his unique ability he purchased some pills that got a boost but also poisoned him, since he has poison immunity. The poison part is removed. but no one in the academy knows he has this ability so the misunderstanding began. His senior brother asked if he wanted to be a training instructor and the contract is basically the same as the accountant but paid 10 times more and he thinks he is stepping from dirt to heaven in one step. He chose to hide his ability and not explain himself and chose to take the short cut when he could have just been a normal person and went to Wei Yard.dropped, but might come back in the future. But I highly doubt it.
A well written Xian Xia not ground breaking but very solid and enjoyable to read, the main character is smart and strong but not op and his cheat is balanced looking forward to continue reading the rest of this novel.
Pretty average, Mc has some sort of system that gives him supposedly 'magical' skills after making a skill 100%, but so far, it's barely been used. He only got one thing 100% so far and while the power he got from it is useful, it's not that amazing (poison helps him recover blood qi). Other than that, almost every other character has a low opinion of the mc, be it his foundations is weak, he's poor, he's solitary, he doesn't interact with people much, etc. Also because of his skill, he bought a pill that is helpful but in return is really poisonous. He bought them in large batches so people think his progress is due to consuming large amounts of it, and while yes he's skilled they think he's a lost cause because the pill's poison already damaged his foundation.
ok, I like this one quite a bit. the Mc is not brash or arrogant. he's not a simp but is also not a hotblooded idiot. he is extremely persistent in his pursuits. the style is comfortable - not super fast-paced but not uncomfortably slow either. if the quality stays the same I'm looking forward to the full release.
This feels like it has actually been reviewed and translated by a human being, already enough for it to qualify. On top of that, it actually is a good novel, a classic genre with a nice and simple plot so far, which I’m sure will evolve into something nice.
A great classic cultivation novel that's done well, the main character is smart and realistic and his cheat is interesting but not broken this novel has great potential.
