Synopsis
In the early 1980s, when the Japanese economy was booming, car trades were touching the sky, classic animes were created, and Japan was riding the economic bubble; a young writer, Hayashi Ryota, was struggling to write his novel in the bustling city of Tokyo.
Feeling stuck and frustrated, he decides to escape to a remote island with his friends where he hopes to find solitude and inspiration.
As Ryota immerses himself in his writing, he becomes fascinated by the island's history and its mysterious past. But his retreat is shattered when his friend goes missing. Ryota becomes deeply concerned and begins to investigate. He soon realizes that the island has a dark and mysterious past and that secrets are lurking beneath its tranquil surface.
He starts to have vivid nightmares and strange visions, which make him question his sanity. He starts to fear he may be connected with the island's dark past. He must find his friend at the cost of losing himself to the island's darkness.

Such a good novel. I am surprised to find that this novel is set in the early 1980s, a time long gone nobody cares about. But this novel brought a lot of memories from my childhood, as a kid growing up in the early 90s. Although I didn't grow up in Japan, many things like mischievousness, trouble, friendship, and love for literature brought a lot of memories. Love the novel. This takes you to a different world than the rest of the webnovels. I hope for this novel to succeed.
