I guess my expectations were too high, the author overstepped with the MC and the comedy, he originally wanted the exchange to be sexual, later regretting it, also From showing many unnecessary comedy scenes and the personality of the MC is practically panicking, regretting, being dense, submissive and among other negative things, he did not learn anything in the past. More than 1000 years of training, his title of god of war is too big for him At the beginning I was fine believing that I was going to improve and everything but apparently it is not going to change.
Before the Tsunade arc the only bad thing about the fanfic was the mc, after the tsunade arc it's just meaningless drama and the mc got worse from 0 to -100, there are pathetic protagonists and then this one.
Nothing great, just a normal śmût story. But i need to say this: I just realized this mc is the literal definition of a simp. “A man who goes above and beyond pleasing women with the hope of receiving sèxûàl favors in return.” Do with that information what you must
I've reached chapter 70, and it feels like the main character in the story hasn't improved much since the beginning or has possibly regressed. I understand that character development can take time, but when will we see real Growth?
Mc is just pathetic. No scum, no pervert, no worst, no evil... Just pure pathetic. The story itself is quite good and makes you want to ready more but the constant stupidity of mc is being reminded to you nearly every chapter. Especially after the tsunade arc.
I've to say, I nearly had a heart attack after reading the first half 😭 For context: this guy was sending me pics when he was making the arts, I though "Wow, I'd tap." But then I read the first chap and halfway through my heart leaped out. Like, what!? Though, thankfully, the Goddess' pics he showed me weren't of... that one. I'd have done something bad then 🙂 Anywho, read this fic!
great start so much potential but in the end ruined by a pathetic mc and plot progression. There is too much focus on cooking and food. The MC somehow can't make up his mind and is constantly depressed. there is zero character development and useless drama. The story only gets worse and worse. Don't expect it to get better.
as of ch 27 overall I'll say the story isnt bad it's no I'll I'm watching it so I can read as soon as it updates but if your just looking for something to read that isnt completely brain dead it can fill in writing quality 2.5: it is decentish some parts come off weird or just bland but its readable and isnt atrocious story development 3.5: overall its laid out its direction and has progressed along the overall plotline without dragging it out or becoming convoluted character design 2: honestly the mc isnt bad but he just feels lacking in alot of ways he has alot of domains cant remember but think 100 was mentioned most not named but in almost every way he doesnt seem like it until he pulls out I sliced you in half and you dont even realize your dead already or everything I cook is delicious yet he apparently forgot pretty much his life before (pretty sure gods would have some sort of memory retention) not to mention I'm sure he has some type of scholar domain and all the skills and information needed to be a god yet some I forget but 25 years ? of memories were to much? overall he seems more like an average virgin who had "tiger"parents controlling his life and just stepped into adulthood with all the naivety insecurity ect and such when at least some of his domains should help at minimum mitigate it I'm not asking for gigachad or anything but something more then shown update stability 4: cant really comment since I'm not actively watching it but it seems to be updated fairly regularly at the moment world development 3: only because there really hasn't been a true need so far for any world development besides the first world and it was mostly a transition setup world and the gist of it was covered overall like I said if your just looking for a filler that isnt completely braindead it's a decent option

japanese mc. Be alone for 8000 years and then become a coward. The character who should go crazy from loneliness is kind to the point of cowardice. If a beautiful woman spits in his face, he says "that wasn't nice". It would have been better to see a MC who went crazy from loneliness and had trust issues because of her previous world. Those who will read it can give it a chance. If you are expecting character development, it seems like it will be extremely slow, let me give you this warning.
mc is so cowardly that it makes the story unbearable. At least we had lemons before now we don't even get lemons, so reading this fiction became more of a chore
Before the Tsunade arc the only thing that didn't fit me in the story was the mc, now in the Tsunade arc onwards there is too much bad drama.
I thought it would improve with time but it seems to have gotten worse, I had let it accumulate, but it went down, if you want, give it a chance but honestly I dropped it, I'm going to let it accumulate and see if it improves
What irritates me most about this! It's how some characters act as if the MC forced them to make the deal and the MC accepted it all. It seems that none of them can understand who has the power and who needs it.
I suggest that if you are emotional or in a bad mood, never read this novel because it will cause mental or emotional stress. Why do I talk like that because I am alone I'm experiencing it as I write this.
I don't know if it's only me or not, but going through what the MC has experienced, I thought he'll be more resilient ( emotionally )
Honestly, I wanted to enjoy this. I got to chapter 95. The MC is constantly going back and forth with his intention and emotions. At first he gets what he wants, then he broods because he got what he wanted... S*x with women. Then his emotions, *sigh* I just can't... He is 8,000 years old, no matter what you were doing for EIGHT THOUSAND YEARS. You would have some emotional development for crying out loud. I don't care what anyone else says, it's ridiculous that he can't manage his emotions almost AT ALL. Dude has over 100 divinities and is strong af, but can't operate like a functional living being. Honestly, the character development almost felt like it was going backwards.
It not a bad story as of chapter 89 but the protagonist despite living for over 1000 years is not as mentally stable as…well…as someone who is older than some mountains should be, you could say. Sadly the protagonist is slowly degenerating into a cliche Japanese beta protagonist. Woe is me🤧
