The World Tree, Progenitor of The Elves

The World Tree, a global treasure and more importantly the source of life of the elves. A progenitor, a hope of the elf kin, a treasure producing tree but despite all that it doesn't have a soul...but what happens if it suddenly gains a soul? And what if that soul is from earth? Will this change destroy the balance of the world?
