The author wanted a honest review so first things first, there are times then sentences repeats themselves, there were a few Instances then I got confused but the next chaps cleared It up, next are the first person perspective, I also write from first person perspective then It Involves the MC but I never do that from other characters, the first time I got confused then reading from another characters perspective I think It would be better If you wrote whose perspective It Is, then you change perspectives, personally I would have written chap 6 and 7 before Elenore got Into the carriage because as a reader after reading that I chap I already know what happened so reading It again from another characters perspective makes It a bit annoying despite my criticism I can tell that the author Is trying their best so give It a read maybe this book you're cup of tea, P.S. I wasn't trying to degrade the book or anything I just gave an honest review from a readers perspective because the Author asked me to.

I Love this book! Let me start off by saying that the emotions the FL was going through, I felt that deep in my soul. It was as if I was her, the pain and bitterness of it all left me feeling alone and so much sorrow for her. That has not happened in awhile. The amount of sadness the author put in the first few chapters were heartbreaking but also astounding because at the same time you can feel her determination to live a better life. A thirst for her to not be controlled. The ML John, has a great depth of layering that’s needs to be addressed. He is going to be a favorite of mine. He is very complexed, he has his own revenge going on but he is helping her the best way he can. The story building is good. I can just imagine the way the buildings look and I have a clear picture of what everyone looks like. I love that there are no grammatical errors. I just dropped a good book because of it. I hope Elenor is going to be very powerful. Stay consistent and read your reviews and engage with your audience and this book will be fabulous. I can’t wait for more chapters.

After reading all the available chapters, I can say the author has a good vision and development for this world. It's an interesting story, though the pacing is a bit unstable. We tend to jump from one point to another without ever really concluding anything. We get a breakfast scene with a fight, followed by a kissing scene that was 3 days later? Then a torture interrogation, I'm not sure where exactly it is in the timeline but the torture interrogation is sprinkled throughout. Then some exposition about witches. What is our FL doing? No idea sleeping and sobbing I suppose. She doesn't seem to do much to try and work through her situation. I get the shock, denial, and confusion, but it's been a while and some of the processing should be done. I'm not asking for much just some progress for our FL. I do enjoy the characters although I wish the author would put the descriptions either in the comments or the author's notes since putting them in the chapter just runs up the word count and cost. However, there is a glaring issue with the lack of proofreading before being published. Words are misspelled, characters are misnamed, sentences are repeated, and phrases that are used are clunky. I was considering reporting all of the mistakes but that would honestly take up more time than just reading the novel. I do enjoy the world and mysteries being uncovered.Overall, I am ambivalent about our FL as she seems kind of useless for everything except crying and picking fights. The ML seems interesting, as does the rest of the cast. I look forward to their stories gradually being revealed. I assume this is the authors' first work since there are so many ideas expressed in such a short time, rather than gradually being revealed as their own independent arc. It's a good concept, I just hope for some streamlining, and proofreading in the future. I look forward to what the Author does in the future.

This is one of the most frustrating stories I have ever read. The idea is magnificent and so far (chapter 30) the mystery is unravelling nicely.But... English is obviously not the writer's first language so much praise is due for the ability to express such a complicated plot at all. However writing in the first person for different characters (even with the addition of a name at the beginning of a chapter is not ideal) causes confusion - even to the writer, it seems. There is repetition of descriptions of characters which honestly seems like a ploy to reach the required number of words in a chapter, as well as a "last chapter we read" paragraph at the beginning of a new one, which to be honest is pretty unnecessary. The plot itself is thrilling and confusionary- when the writing echoes it it can be too much. This book would definitely benefit from an editor or proof reader.fingers crossed

The most wonderful thing about this reading is that the author conveys that he is in full control of the story, taking it exactly where he had planned and not like many works that are a compendium of recurring improvisation. Good job

I have only read the first 20 chapters so please accept that my review is simply about initial impressions. With that said, this story was instantly captivating for me with the FL appearing strong yet vulnerable. I appreciated that after being thrown back three years she was strong of will in her determination to seek a happier life. It doesn’t seem much to ask for, and her refusal to chase her ex and instead accept her childhood friend’s proposal gave her some much needed dignity. But following this event, things became a whirlwind of confusion for the reader. That’s not necessarily a bad thing as it reflects what the MCs must be feeling and I liked that we got to see both characters POV on this chaos of time and memory and the author set the real mysteries of this story before the reader. Perfect timing just as the free chapters ended. From here it’s up to each reader if they choose to step further into the intrigue. Some readers may find the story too confusing to go further, but others will need to proceed and find the answers and see the MCs come together even though it appears everything is striving to keep them apart. Cleverly done, author 👌🏻

This novel has away of grabbing readers attention and holding it. Once you start reading, you'd want to keep going to learn more about what will happen next. Eleanor's journey is captivating since she tries to break free from her present conditions in order to live a better life. If you resonate with this, which I think most people do so, try it and give this novel a read. It might be the novel you were looking for. When it comes to the narrative and the writing quality, this novel doesn't fall behind. The writing was descriptive and unique in its own way. Further, there were little to no grammatical errors thus it boost readers experience. All the best author [img=recommend]

Love how the story slowly unfolds ❤️❤️ Definitely a 5-stars from me. Writing is beautifully done and immersive, characters are realistic with flesh and blood, especially love their names btw. The only thing lacking is the update so hope the author could keep it up!
