the summary for the story was interesting so i decide to give this ff a read but this ff is an absolute mess story/lore wise and also appatently au if i could summerize the story recap the mc has in the first chapter it would be like talking your dog to the back of your house and shooting him in the head the amount of aneurysm and whiplash i got from the first chapter alone would be enough to kill me so for people that are invested in the cyberpunk lore i would not recomend this book but for those that dont care about the lore or just want buch of dates and events missmatched or completely made up ones than this is for you

The story's pretty good. (If you can follow it) The grammar is.... well, I've certainly read worse The real kicker however is that this story reads like it was written by an Alzheimer's victim. The author can't keep straight who he's talking about. One minute it's the Maelstrom gang, next they're the Valentinos, then they suddenly become the Voodoo Boy's.

this is an honest review, to anyone who is really into cyberpunk. this probably isn't for you, it's all over the place. the author can't keep the timelines in check, and you can't tell who's talking most of the time because each sentence is separated and not put into one paragraph for each person's responseExample: person A ".........""......"".....""......"only now does person B respond ".....""....""....""...."

I don't agree with the overly negative reviews. While neither the writing quality / story, nor the translation is top notch, it's not as bad as other reviews suggest. It most certainly is enough to get your fix in until your favorite other edgerunner fanfics are posting another chapter.

This is not only the best cyberpunk fanfic you can find but it also one of the best fanfic out there, yes the timeline can be a bit confusing at time but it's a fanfic, who cares. Overall this fanfic has great story, amazing development and characters, it is a must try 10/10 💯

if you can ignore the horrendous amount of getting names mixed up its an okay novel if you can ignore this stuff like the chapter im on he keep saying voodoo boys gang you dont see a mistake haha well he was fighting maelstrom. M A E L S T R O M, not voodoo boys and i guess every club and restaurant is just the afterlife club. its really annoying like really annoying. other than that i actually like the novel but this guy really need to fix these mistakes

I’m enjoying it so far the only bad thing I’ve seen is when you switch perspectives it’s gets a little confusing besides that I love this story. I haven’t seen edgerunners and I don’t know a lot of the lore I’ve only played the game so the timeline and all that other stuff could be wrong.
