Synopsis
Cyrus Calder was never supposed to escape.
As a male Frostborn, he is rarer than rare, valuable enough to be protected, studied, hunted, and locked away by people who call their obsession love. After years inside a cage built from concern, duty, and bloodline secrets, Cyrus finally runs.
Now he lives in Grayhaven, a quiet coastal city where the sea feels close enough to promise freedom. By day, he hides behind messy hair and a forgettable academy uniform, just another tired final-year student sleeping through math class. By night, he works at The Full Moon Lounge, earning tips, saving every dollar, and tasting all the ordinary pleasures he was once denied.
Cheap food. A small apartment. A paycheck. A walk by the water.
To Cyrus, that is paradise.
But freedom is fragile when too many women know what he is.
His composed classmate begins watching him like a mystery she intends to solve. His elegant coworker treats kindness like something that can become ownership. His teacher-landlord’s concern reaches too close to his door. A police detective says she only wants to protect him, yet somehow always knows where he has been. And somewhere behind all of them waits the woman who put a ring on his finger, a ring he cannot remove.
Cyrus has one reliable defense.
“I lost my memory.”
It is a clean lie. A useful lie. A lie that keeps questions away.
Until the wrong word makes him flinch.
Until the women realize his cold, harmless act is full of cracks.
Until the runaway Frostborn learns that escaping the cage was only the beginning.
Because the women who found him do not want revenge.
They want him back.
And this time, they plan to make sure he never runs again.

Write a reviewPeak author peak novel fr, this author always drops straight bangers and this one hits different with the main character finally getting a taste of freedom just for a bunch of crazy obsessed yandere girls to start hunting him down again. Can’t wait to see what the author is going to come up. Hope this one doesn’t get abandoned or dropped!
I like the authors works enough to disregard the obvious Ai usage on all of them (even the ones on novelpia), but this one is just getting frustrating plot wise to the detriment of what I think is the best world this author has made Him not having picked up on Audra being the one hypnotizing him with her ring is just such a silly plot point. The last time his ring did something, it broke him free from a glamourkins influence, surely he should be able to connect the dots when it has started acting up again right after he doesn’t remember a few minutes, and Audra is always nearby. It’s really stupid and seems so forced, kinda like him deciding to hang around a shotacon in his child form for free food, seeing absolutely zero risk, and that ended up blowing up in his face spectacularly.
Reveal SpoilerWay. Too. Slow. How can there be 100+ chapters and yet nothing has changed? Character dynamics are virtually the same, no character development/growth, no nothing. This story is a complete waste of time and potential.
Loved the story, the tragic past adds a real mystery. The characters and their personality gets you hooked. Just wishing if we can get character illustrations. 🥺
A very good novel characters feel alive and reading about mcs inner toughts feels very good for me trauma is very visible unlike many characters in another novels and he is not retarded like many other mcs if I have to say a bad thing about this novel it would be that ı have found it very early which is quite saddining to me
The hero is like a beautiful, helpless girl; he has no power to defend himself, and everyone wants him, and that's shi***t.
My main issue with this novel is that the prose is simply inadequate. It is rather obviously AI generated or AI assisted, which isn't necessarily problematic by itself. However, the writing quality sufffers strongly under this. Most sentences are filled with unnecessary and unfitting literary and stilistic devices that are entirely unorganic and serve no purpose beyond creating a facade of good writing. Sadly, this is so unbearable to me that I cannot bring myself to keep reading this novel any further.
Really nice world building, The author has made the MC not really dumb which is quite a nice change from most other we novels. The author portrays the rare-blood humans in such a way to not ruin the mystery surrounding what they are, while giving just enough to keep you hooked on them. Overall a great book, only downside is not enough chapters yet.
I've read this novel, but what I want to discuss is... WHERE IS THE NOVEL TITLED "THE SEDUCTIVE PRETTY BOY IN MATRIARCHAL WORLD"? WHY IS IT DISAPPEARING? EVEN THOUGH, IN TERMS OF STORY AND CHARACTERS, IT ALL DESERVES 5 STARS. BUT WHY IS IT DISAPPEARING? WAS IT DELETED OR MOVED?? PLSSSZZ TELL ME!!
Author WarySeer
Idc anything made by this author is a banger. 100/10, loved how the mc is actually not acting like most dense main character. He actually sticks to his rules and dosen't fall for guilt trips.
