Synopsis
Dave couldn't help but chuckle at the mess he was stuck in. He was lying under the shade of a tree, one of his hands was missing, one of his legs was broken, and most of his torso was melted by acid. He is going to die, a very slow and ruthless death.
In his last moments, he could not help but be reminiscent of the life before this stupid game. He was a cook, living in a small town. He lived a pretty typical life at that time. But all of that changed, when was kidnapped on the way to his home. He was kidnapped by the same gods whose existence was nothing more than a piece of fiction for him.
He was thrown into another dimension and forced into a game called R3T or Race to the Top. The game itself was pretty simple, every player had to cross the 9 worlds comprising this dimension, and the first one to cross the 9th world would be given a very special reward. Any wish winner would be granted by the Gods.
Furthermore, Gods would entice players in joining their familia, with the promise of power to survive in this dangerous world. But joining the familia only bounded players in shackles. Players were meant to be puppets of Gods, cheap soldiers that they use to fight amongst themselves…
But he stayed true to his path, he didn't care about fights amongst gods nor did he care about winning. He just wanted his freedom, he wanted to get back to his normal life. As he laid under the tree, slowing dying, it seemed to him that it was too much to ask for

What a great first venture! I am blown away by the writer's skills as he unravels a new world before his readers. The clarity and vocabulary used are both satisfactory! Detailed and descriptive writings >>>>>
With nice pacing, solid world building and good character development, the author has shown us he can craft a world that will grip our attention while keeping us always anticipating. For debut novel this is just brilliant. I hope the author continues to wow us.
I have read first 16 chapters of the book, and here is my verdict... The story is going pretty smoothly, unlike the other books where MC straight away starts killing the first thing that come there way, this book takes a different approach. MC is smart and kills its first prey by using hit and run tactic. Which is quite smart considering he dont any other options. The world building is pretty good too. Author san had made a map for readers to better understand the world. And there is tit-bits about all the main characters of the book. PS--> There is only one main protagonist, but this book also follows the story of few more characters. From what i have read, it seems that they would play crucial part in upcoming chapters.

The MC is nice and observant but the plot feels a bit forced. Sometimes the MC acts mature but at other times he acts as a fool. Overall it is a nice novel for timepass reading. Author-kun I request you to stop making action scenes like that of a bollywood movie. In most fight scenes the MC first gets beaten and then suddenly he gets a "Crazy idea" and manages to defeat the monster. Please try to fix that. Try to make it look a bit natural. Also do you have a discord server? If so please post the link. You can also ask for readers view there to improve your writing.
It's a very interesting tale much worth the time. I ended up reading quite a few chapters and forgot to review. I'll be continuing it right after. Still in its beginning stages with just 25, this is the perfect book to binge and follow. The writing quality is much higher than a lot of stuff and the fantasy elements are sprinkled masterfully so as to not be alienating to the reader while giving a sense of continued awe. I love Dave's rational yet humane character and am looking forward to seeing how he develops down the line. Kudos to the author, really looking forward to more!
The story will require you to follow the details the author is trying to lay down. There is suspense and there is emotion. You will enjoy it. Especially if it's your genre.
Ohohoh! The novel is fabulously written. I normally don't like long chaps having novels but, this is an exception. The author has written chaps well. Incredible work man. I hope you continue your hardwork and make this story a complete success !!!
There's no problem with the grammar. And the Author's way of telling the story made me easily understand the course of events. As for the update stability, I can't say much since the book had just started. The sypnosis was the thing that really hooked me and the so-called God Hater. I wonder if the MC would become like Kratos of God of War, A god slayer. My expectation was through the roof because this interesting premise. The World Background was structured and well-thought out. I can't also say much about this aspect since he was still in the first world. For the MC, as long as he wasn't extremely stupid I'm fine with it.
Although I'm not much of a ML reader, I have to say that they first chapter captivated my soul and I can't wait for more updates by this amazing author... please do give it a try and you won't regret it🌹
