Being one of the strongest demons in the Aisle of Doom, known as Hell, had its price and flare.
Having being framed for insurgency, Abaddon Gadreel was cast out of Hell and stripped of his rank with his only redemption being to bring the souls of all the freeborn mages to hell with a time frame of six months.
5 months passed and Abaddon succeeded in his assignment until he came in contact with Abigail, an angel in disguise and a frail, harmless, charming looking damsel who was the last of her kind and the very last soul he needed to complete his mission.
In the process of getting close to her to get her trust and willing relinquish her soul to him, he ends up falling in love with her as her goodness affected him, leaving him in a dilemma.
Would he succumb to his love and desire for her, giving up his whole world and ambition or would he choose his rank and mission over her, claiming her soul for the Demon Lord.

Relaxing his muscles and flaring his wings as his horns stood proud and tall, Abaddon twisted his neck from side to side.
“You have got to be kidding me!” Abigail exclaimed as she gazed with wide-eyes at the creature standing in front of her.
Gasp!
Turning swiftly, with eyes that look like hers, disbelieving and scared, he opened his mouth quickly to say something.
“Shit!”
She blinked, realization dawning on her. “Abigail, wait. It is not what you think.”
“You liar, you lied!” Not giving him room to explain, she turned and fled.
