Having been raised by parents of conflicting views, Darby is on the surface a bright, lovely and pleasant young lady of the 1900's and has just finished, rather scandalously, a degree in Archeology, However having to navigate a society that is harsh to women with career aspirations and strong opinions her true nature hidden below her angel like surface is anything but sweet and is more than willing to manipulate anything she needs to, to get what she wants.
Jack is a gentle young man down on his luck and searching for a way to make ends meet so that he can continue to support himself, without having to return to the controlling grasp of his family.
One thing leads to another and these two become thrown together and what the future has in store is anything but smooth sailing.
