A land divided in two; the hunters and the hunted. Decades of endless bloodshed and war. Fields dyed the colour of crimson blood. Families ripped apart in order to 'create a better future'.

The Academy of Zhandou specialises in training young boys to become subordinate warriors. Their job is simple; destroy the daemons and eliminate the Magi. Prodigy, Liu Chen, is the youngest guardian to walk the halls of the grand institution. When a strange boy, with no past, enters the Academy, rivalling his position as the top student, Liu Chen can't help but think there is something not quite normal about the stranger. He refuses to speak to anyone. He is somehow besting Liu Chen in every subject. He somehow manages to charm everyone else with his handsome looks. Perhaps the clue to his identity has something to do with the mark embedded on his skin.

A mark that would align him with the Magi.
