Synopsis
The year is ~900 A.D., social upheaval and tensions rise within Soul Society as souls battle for their right to live with dignity. Some die in the human world, being thrown into the deep end as they navigate life after death. Some are born as souls, knowing only the brutal, poverty-stricken nature of their 'Paradise'.
In this shallow world, ambitions fester into obsessions. Souls break down and begin anew, forging themselves into Shinigami. Those who rule over life and death. Ones who attain power beyond imagination. Power that can craft one's perfect world.
But what if you didn't need power? What if all you needed was someone to listen? Someone to be there. Someone who can guide you through the challenges of the afterlife. A person or people who want nothing more than to exist for just one moment, nothing more.
Kindred souls meet in the bloodiest area in North Rukongai, Akachou. In a place where families are built on bonds rather than blood, a group of lost souls learn what it means to live for the first time.
Join a small family as they find purpose, shape their identity, and heal alongside one another.

Hello Fellow Humans,
I'll kick this off by saying that this is my maiden voyage for fanfics. I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing. I'm just going with the flow, enjoying the process.
I haven't done much creative writing at all. I ask you to enter without expectations and hopefully you'll leave having enjoyed at least some part of my attempt. If you find a little pleasure in only a couple chapters, I've done a decent job.
That being said, please send your thoughts and critiques. Big or small, tough love or coaxing, I don't care, just as long as I can learn what it is I need to work on. Never discount your opinion, whatever it is, share what you're comfortable with.
Then without further ado, I hope you'll sit back and gain something from this little story.

just a random guy who passes by until now I'm not disappointed to hope that it continues like this.....................................................
Some parts of this story are really amazing while others are not so good. It is a constant up and own reading this. For example, I adore Furoufushi as a character but I hate how vague and hard to follow the story often is. Stuff happens and you have no clue what is even going on or why it matters. This is the first time I have experienced something like that.
How dare you not have hundreds of chapters yet. I was so engrossed in reading only to get stopped by the end. I’m going absolutely mad! This is one of the best bleach fan fics there are, a lot of it due to the quality of the writing itself! But I also enjoy the story. Although a shame there is no romance or perhaps not yet, the characters you have written are enough. More than so. Can’t wait for the next update! Don’t drop this or I will find out where you live.
I thought it was a romantic story, I'm on chapter 17 and I still haven't seen anything that looks like a novel, it looks more like a training novel, if it is, I'd better remove the romance tag
so far the story is off to a great start, all be it we are still only at the beginning stages, chapter 6. Grammar is fairly good, and the characters so far seem like actual characters and not machines. the Author so far seems to have been doing there homework, most of the background lore and info have been accurate with only some minor misunderstandings every now and then but even then this small mistakes really don't matter at all. So good job author and keep up the good work.
I'm only 7 chapters in but I can safely say this is one of the best bleach novels I have read. The writing quality is great and characters so far feel like people. I do wonder if Kenji will have a love interest and what his interactions with the Gotei 13 and Quincy will be like

i can only say that this fic for me is one of the more unique fics of the bleach fandom dont know if there another one that is even similar to it.truly when i see OP update the story and i am at work i will find time to read it
5 stars cause I love it. Good writing well pieced together. Alittle slow but that's to be expected. Nice take on how things ran before the gotei 13 was put together.
I have to say amazing storytelling but where is this story is actually heading towards. Secondly , is the mc of this story a reincarnated or transmigrated or just an oc . I feel like it'd better to know this guy's past .

I've read the first 6 chapters so far and honestly I was hooked; this story does something that other stories often fail to do: it tells something, you can feel it in the words woven in each chapter, the way the serene teashop contrasts with the violence in Rukongai, the way the owner is described and seen through the eyes of others. It really is akin to a breath of fresh air after reading all those non-stop rushing fictions all over the app. Thanks author for this story, bookmarking and looking forwards to this journey.

Look. Most people search for a somewhat creative retelling of what they deem canon. And that's fine. But it's not what they'll find here. The Author dives into and reinvents the past of what we know. He uses superb storytelling and experienced pacing to bring characters to life that we only know the faintest bit about. And I like that. Writing Quality: Simply grand. It's a polished and engaging writing style and I'd very much like to read more of it in other settings.Story Development: The pacing is a bit slow but that's nice since the characters and their interactions feel fantastically alive. He isn't just using a template. He is filling it to the brim and it's overflowing. slowly but surely, this particular iteration of this world will belong to the author.Character Design: We don't know much about those people. Their designs are interesting but there isn't any substance. The Author is changing that. They have their reasons, they learn, they fear, they are alive. And that's what makes this story shine.Updating Stability: We don't have much yet but evidently, the author has already written a fair bit before posting. What is there already is high quality and probably read over and polished several times. It feels like a passion project and I hope it will continue to be one.World Background: He took an already established world and decided to use it as a canvas. If you write fanfiction, you shouldn't keep as close to canon as possible. It's fine to change things around. And that's what's done here. It won't follow any and all official media. This being fanfiction automatically makes it an AU. Taking the bits and pieces one is comfortable with and weaving a story around it is a valid practice.All around, this is a fine piece of fiction and I am enjoying it. It's not for the canon fanatics and those who are hung up with reading about Ichigo and his adventures will have a bit of trouble with this too. If you keep an open mind, however, then you might just see a worthy reinvention of a much beloved universe.
