Bubblegum Insomnia follows the psychological crisis of Asayoru Tsushima, a freeter who happens to have graduated from Miomeikan University’s College of Pharmaceutical Science. After an incredibly traumatic accident at his internship, Asayoru develops a severe insomnia which further escalates when he begins hallucinating his imaginary “electric gods”.
