CHOSEN?

"CHOSEN???" Father questioned disbelievingly while mother held her palm to her mouth as if to suppress a scream, as my heart beat accelerated, not out of excitement but pure fear.

"She has been chosen since birth to end this terror invading the land" Master Kanoshi repeated with his head stooped low.
"No!!", "I can't put the princess at such risks, I can't put my own daughter at such risks" Father concluded shaking his head with eyes half closed.
"She's....she's too ...." He stared at me and couldn't complete the sentence.
