Short and simple: This novel is a mess. Reading through the early chapters and dialogue was a journey, if put mildly. Sentence structure, pacing or story development are all so chaotic and all over the place that I had a hard time enjoying or making sense of most of the stories beginning. Though that senseless style of writing is amended in the next 30 chapters, it is nonetheless a very shaky start to a good idea for a story. I’d say that a proper rewrite and maybe expansion of detail and a slight change of writing style, would do wonders for readers delight. Even if you have read till status quo of the book, the story seems rushed. To conclude, I’d like to say that, although I am not a fan of the novel due to obvious reasons, I congratulate the author on the idea for the story. Just formulate it better next time. Please. With your creativity, it could have been so much more than a subpar ******* novel.

The only thing iritate me is author keep using gay, pedo, perv jokes again and again. It makes me sick, enough already with that lame jokes. Really.. enough
well i was never fun of ntr so bye.. MC stupid... female stupid.. i should have listen to the review to stay away.. this is really a frustrating book. i read to enjoy whatever what this is its not enjoyable.

Enjoyable at first but as time passed the errors piled up, once I got to the unlockable chapters I ended up dropping. Not that the story is uninteresting or anything, just character is far too OP way too early in the story.
By far an interested read. When are you writing the next chapters or the ending i suppose.. waiting patiently, I hope in this week's time or sooner.

The perfect novel if you love ntr without the mature parts! weak useless japanese MCs! The girl getting stolen for no reason and even better she does it so under her will! plot holes in top of plot holes! Useless titles! Like seriusly the MC is even worse than ronald in harry potter, wich makes me think he got his mage classes from antarctica. Not only this, we also have the tipical author excuses! The boring filler chapters where he writes how bad life is like the readers dont already know that. The complaining of having low star reviews. Actualy deleting fair reviews just because they aint 5 stars. To be honest the story of this novel's reviews is actualy better than the novel itself... If you are a machochist or whatever how you write this word, then this novel is for you.

I love the funny, quirky style, set in multiple magical world and realms with a interesting conflict between eastern and western fantasy! The story keeps me coming back!
The author and translator did great. The story is fun and easy to read and it comes often enough to be a consistent read. You will have a great deal of fun reading the book. ........................................
This novel is for cucks and this author is scum who deletes negative reviews whenever his novel drops below 4 stars. INB4 my review gets deleted again. Also if any of you want to leave a negative review, you have to give it a 1.5 star or higher or he will go after your review and delete it eventually. Readers be warned, this novel is not a good one.
This novel sucks immense **** and when it was first starting out he deleted all the negative reviews "because they were all bots from the same ip" They weren't. He deleted a good 6-7 reviews that were actual people and you might think that's not very many, you have to remember that this was when the novel had less than 29 chapters. At one point this novel had 3.5 stars but he just slowly deletes all the negative reviews until his novel bumps back up to 4.0, thus the current rating. (4.0) as of today February 3rd. I've tried to counter this injustice by spamming 1 star reviews but in hindsight that was a bad idea because they still go through and deleted them. The author tried incredibly hard to keep his novel on the front page just so he could get a contract quickly, and it worked. Do yourself a favor, give this novel a 1.5 star, and go find literally any other book to read. Because unless you like being cuckolded, this novel is complete trash. Its only good point is it's writing speed but even that is bad, because all it means is that he's good at writing trash extremely fast. How about you slow down and actually write a good story?
Finally, I am writing a review! (Hehehe) To be honest, I liked the premise of the story. It's kinda amusing to find a Male oriented novel in WN where ML starts with betrayal from his lover. (since most of the male perspective stories are ended up with harem which always pisses me off). Welp, here comes some serious review. Writing Quality: Top notch. It'll be an insult if I comment on it since I can't find any mistakes (Since I know my review is full of grammatical errors, kekeke) Update Stability: 5/5. Story Development: 4/5. I think the story is kinda slow paced since MC still haven't shown any of his powers when it is already 60 chapters and we all know he is very strong. Character Design: 5/5. I liked ML's character tbh. I am actually waiting how much his character will develop. World Background: 5/5. Overall it's a good story. I want a fluffy, happily ever after ending of the ML and FL. ***Advice to the author: You've introduced too many characters in earlier chapters (eg:1, ML's comrades), which I think totally unnecessary since it takes times for readers to get used to the main character's name. So in future, try to introduce characters gradually (when the character will take its action). That way, people will remember them. Moreover, try to write a fast-paced story (at least for the first volume) where after all the character progression and world-building, you can put flashbacks in the middle (eg: betrayal, family problems and so on). This way, readers will understand ML's motive behind his actions. I hope it'll help you in your future projects (Though I wonder if it is, LOL).
*Remember, this review is based on the first 5 chapters* Constructive Criticism: Though I see it's importance, I think your introduction in chapter 1 should be it's own chapter titled something like "Book Introduction" or "Desolate Mage: A Legend Reborn! I really don't get what the author is trying to write or what kind of world he's trying create everything is terrible and just downright confusing. 1. How can a world have qi, cultivation, magic, portals, warship, military, demon penguin gods what kind of drugs did the author take before writing 2. The author doesn't seem to understand what a legendary mage is. Joining the army doesn't automatically make anyone a mage not to mention how was mc even trained to be a mage where did he get spells etc. 3. There's so many plot holes and details not touched upon in just the first three i wonder how the author plans to explain those stuff. Oh wait he made mc reincarnate so he wouldn't think and explain stuff Example. How did mc learn magic How did his first relationship fall apart Why is earth being invaded 4. The story is just haphazard doesn't make the least bit amount of sense and the constant change in pov is down right annoying
too dark for my tast it is always a betrayal in the first ten chapters. not for conspiracy theory minded people, or they will die of the fear of betrayal at every corner. my heart was aching after the first ten chapters, but I didn't know what was going on. two bad combinations. I don't recommend this story.
MC is dumb as ****. 2nd life and he is still seriously ***** and making stupid decision that make me want to strangle him. You also need to get your info straight and can't just switch everything up cause that's totally irritating.
