Earths Mightiest Apprentice

This story has gone under a major rewrite after I realized there were several things with the story that was pointless both in the short and long term and that there were many parts of the story I didn't like.

Nicholas Charter, Nick for short, is an escapist. And not in the Harry Houdini way. Ask any of his friends about him and the first thing that will come to mind is his nigh historian levels of knowledge on anything magic. From demon summoning to Nordic Runes.
But, as all things in life do, things changed. Nick's best friend and strongest social life link was moving out of town. Feeling isolated, Nick tries out a new ritual he's pieced together. And for once Nick's wish was granted. The spell worked. But now Nick has no f*cking clue where he is and why the evil witch of the West is looming over him.
