Synopsis
NOTICE: This series is currently being rewritten from the beginning to ensure a more engaging story. See the new synopsis below:
Solrac is a common-ranked demon who has been desperately trying to get promoted to supreme-greater-rank for a good portion of his life. With allies far and few, he clings to whoever he sees as a worthy mentor. Follow the many misadventures of this power-hungry demon as he struggles to navigate through the pervasively discriminatory system of a recently modernized kingdom of hell (in another world!?)
When demons procreate, a piece of their spirit (the source of their power and life-force) is passed onto their offspring. This has been going on across generations of demons, for many millennia. A demon's spirit is composed of an incomprehensible energy simply known as 'Hell Essence." The only two things known about this energy/matter are that it's a corrupted variant of 'Holy Energy' and that it's fatal to angels in large amounts and vice versa. Without enough Hell Essence, demons can end up stillborn. Limited by a grand but finite number of Hell Essence to distribute as souls to future demon offspring, the blood line was bound to die eventually. To prevent this and reinforce the souls of hell's strongest demons for future generations, the Supreme Demon King Manestella must look elsewhere, but instead for human souls (from another world!?)

Hey, shameless self review here. everyone's doing it these days. you know the drill. I can’t this story is perfect, but what I can say is that my writing process takes longer than a learning disabled child to solve slightly complex arithmetic equations. That example is me. ASD and ADHD. welcome to the club, me. I'm not always the most consistent to update, and that's cuz I've got little to no motivation. I overthink my story and overdetail. I'm sorry for that, if you don't like detailed environments and want laughs or plot. But despite these glaring flaws, I've got more chapters cooking up in the ol' noggin. I prefer to slow cook than to overcook, if you catch my drift. Hope you enjoy my passion project as much as I enjoyed imagining all the scenes a million times over.
