Twenty years ago, Zhang Wei's father was sent to jail for murder. His mother passed away shortly after from long term sickness. Zhang Wei was sent to his aunt and uncle where he was shown no love from them. As a result of constant abuse, he developed personality disorder.

Future- Zhang Wei became a success CEO of Star Corporation, the largest conglomerate in the business world. He was set to revenge for his father because he believed his father was being framed as a murderer. He became very cold and had a strong defensive wall inside his heart.

Xiu Ying graduated from the police academy with top honors, she wouldn't let anyone look down on her. She came from a broken family but that wouldn't stop her from becoming a police which was her dream.
