/ Fantasy / Ghoul's Eclipse
Synopsis
A world where one's blood decides their position in the society.
People born as Norms possess a stable, crimson blood resulting from the equal proportions of the three Divine Elements; Auralum, Behenium, and Neronium. If their blood is purified for a certain Element, they can obtain its specific power.
However, those deprived of the Elements are branded as outcasts called Anomalies. Their unstable grey blood emanates a mysterious aura that threatens any Norm as they tend to cause an imbalance between the Elements, turning the Norm blood into a corrosive fluid. Moreover, they can unleash deadly bursts of power if emotionally manipulated.
Prince Faveos, the heir to the throne, is forced to dwell in a separate, abandoned castle in the outskirts of the Ogradian Empire. Sharing traits with an Anomaly's blood has led him to suffer from the scorn, loathing and torment of the royal family. Upon investigating the deserted library in his abode, he discovers the solution.
A fabled mineral known as Omnitite can cleanse and stabilize his blood, as well as secure the ability to use the three Elemental powers all at once, but this can be done only in a Ghoul's Eclipse. However, the only known location to obtain it lies in the formidable Reaper's Summit, the peak of Mount Norka.
Despite the possibility of purifying and surviving the process slim to naught, Faveos is hell-bent to claim his rightful place and exact revenge. He exploited several of Anomalies, luring and convincing them with wealth and power to execute the mission. But to his dismay, the only one who escaped with his life came crawling back in unsuccessfully, narrating the horror he and the others experienced.
The prince resorts to his final hopes as the Eclipse, occurring once every century, was twenty days away. His loyal servant Derod, his half-blood daughter Mara, and a youth named Sylun rumored to be an Anomaly possessing traits similar to Faveos, are sent to fulfill his orders.
Unlike the others, the prince imposes a condition upon Sylun who refuses at first. If he fails to retrieve the mineral within the time limit, his mother's death will be inevitable.
This a twisted, brooding tale of a journey that forces the true savage instincts out of one's soul as they are willing to go to any unprecedented lengths for protecting their last breath in a remorseless world.

Write a reviewI must say that the writing quality is top-notch, and the story is very intense from the start. However, the vocabulary in this book is quite advanced, and it might be hard for some readers to understand and interpret the whole story. Overall, this novel is a suited for people who like dark fantasy and violent environments. Keep up the good work!
The writing style of the book is really on point. I would just like to have a more vivid image of what the characters look like. Otherwise it's great.
This is quite a vivid story and I'm really impressed by the writing style. The author has done a really great job at telling this story and the plot is quite interesting. Also grammar was on point. I did feel the blurb confused me a little about the story but otherwise it was pretty easy to understand the story. (Except maybe chapter 3 but that might be me) Anyway, really enjoyed the story and can't wait to see where it goes.
Truthfully first page already pulls you in! I am pretty impressed with how well it is written! I agree with the other reviewer you need a better cover to represent your work here! You are very good at tuning us into the world given.
The imagery is very strong and may not be for readers with weaker stomachs. For this genre, I think it is well written and has a trajectory that promises lots of adventure.

I would like to say one word: bravo! This work is greatly written, I can't find anything to nitpick on aside from the book cover which I think can be edited into something that represents the story more. I can't believe this is your first book because it's greatly written. Congratulations and I hope you keep up the good work!
