But then it was just 200 years later when his only disciple, the first known Spellmeister to have ever lived was murdered, thus breaking the Golden Council to its core.

All of these things once felt like impossible stories to Aster, long forgotten legends that speak of a time way before he was born. It wasn’t until his home was invaded, his family slaughtered, and their heritage destroyed that he would be forced to flee for his life and come across mystifying abilities, shattered legacies and dangerous secrets buried deep by those still in power.

With a choice that would forever change his life and a long journey ahead, what would become of him? Will his quest for vengeance swallow him whole or would he dare allow himself to live for something more even as his life is in the hands of someone else, someone unimaginably powerful?
