Write a reviewstory was going fine till it felt like everything got stuck... 70+ chapters and only a week or so has passed in the novel. They be dragging things unnecessarily. MC levels up fast already, the pace of the novel should keep up with the MC
The story is alright, though mc levels up way too fast for how slow the story progresses time wise. However, the grades of pills and the numbers for points and money are way too unstable. They keep going back and forth on the numbers and mix up the grades of pills. It’s annoying to have to decipher if they are talking about top grade pills or high grade pills when they say top grade pills because they use that for both.
Upgrades are interesting at frist, but later on it becomes main part and they come in hundreds of levels, which dilutes their importance and bores the reader with descriptions. Plot overall is very simple bit still decent, but i didnt expect author will manage to put in racism and nationality in some post apo world with wuxia elements. WTF

Reveal SpoilerJust finished this novel. So allow me to say the last 100 chapters of this novel are bad. This novel starts off so strong, but at some point the MC just gets too strong for there to realistically be any kind of actual threats. There’s really no satisfying conclusion the novel just ends. There’s not even any major conflicts in the novel. The MC just kinds of wins every time. By the time any fights come around he’s so much stronger than everyone. There’s also a point where he gets an ability that makes any future planning against him irrelevant. I really enjoyed the first 200 chapters or so, but after that I pretty much just read to get to the end.
pretty decent book [ch. 237] with a typical training type panel growth. characters outside the mc are a little 2D but they're not absolutely terrible. biggest complaint I have is honestly probably pretty silly. the mc often uses bows and as the draw weight of the bow goes up instead of just using stronger materials and keeping a similar profile its describing absolutely ridiculous weapons with limbs as wide as human arms. and mentioning them getting larger. additionally they keep saying armstrength for archery when the primary muscles are the back muscles.
it's worth the time if you like this genre you will like it .............. ............. ... ........
I was was enjoying the story until the author super-rush the end The dude literally killed all the strongest clans and the 3 final bosses in 5 chapters No talks about his family or the twin sisters or even a mention of the higher real they had talked about and he had even killed someone from that realm
Reveal SpoilerI’ve just finished the latest non-privilege chapter, and honestly, my feelings are mixed. It’s not too bad, but not particularly great either. Overall, it was enjoyable, yet it leans heavily into the typical chinese novel, conflict-stacking cliché: you kill one person, then their father shows up, then the grandfather, then the ancestor, then the ancestor’s friends, and eventually even the friends of those friends. And somehow, no matter how hidden everything is, some random nobody always manages to “find clues” pulled straight out of their asses, which instantly alerts the enemy and restarts the endless cycle of conflict. I’m not saying it’s as bad as it sounds, but it does get repetitive. All in all, it was still entertaining enough, but I’ll likely wait for the novel to finish before giving it a full reread.
I knew this novel would be overall bad when I read the first chapter, author wrote the world changed only ten years ago, and then in the next 70 chapters he crammed 100 years worth of history into those ten years. In those ten years beasts evolved from normal level up to Emperor which is like 5+ realms, humans have awakeners as powerful, cities rose, society adapted and changed, new rules, new training. It was just too stupid to read, I made it to 70. Not to mention the author lacks basic understanding of many of the concepts he wrote about, details he could have learned in 5 minutes of research (or less), like he wrote that in order to kill a low level beast (so one that was enhanced) you need a 40lb bow, on earth that is the minimum to kill normal animals and only some is that enough. Then he writes it so in order to use a 100 lb bow you basically need to be super human in strength... dude, there are real bows with more lb on earth, hundreds of years ago they used 120lb and some unique bows up to 185lb. He also made archery sound so hard people with no prior skill would pick up wood sticks to fight enhanced beasts to hunt them over using a bow they don't know how to use. If this situation ever happened, people will go to bows and arrows far faster than melee fighting. Also, the novel is a lot repetitive pointless pov. MC picks up archery, THREE CHAPTERS of all members of his village: Eh, he won't be good, let him try, he is not good, he is young, he can try, he wont be good, its too hard. Then another chapter or two: wow, he's good, he can shoot!, nice, let him train more, wow, yes, wow. Each of these are a sentence or more. I was genuinely getting annoyed at those characters on the MCs behlf, like stfu and stop gossiping and talking about useless shit so I can train. Overall, I liked the idea of the novel, I liked the system and power progression, I liked it started with Archery, but that's about it. It feels like the author copied another story, completely missing how important certain details are, or copied and meshed several stories and again failed to realize many details.
Reveal SpoilerA great novel for those who like Overpowered Main Character and system which only the MC has. pacing is also good.
The beginning hit's very strong and I love it that working hard equals this outcome. However the system that the MC has is one of the hardest things any author who attempts it to keep the story interesting. MC unfortunately doesn't face any real challenges. Not even a close call since there are story elements that depict a close call thus he can circumnavigate. Also everything happens way too fast. Since the story started maybe a its been 1.5-2 months and I'm in the early 400s. It's ok to try to make each day interesting but it feels overstuffed when things can go at a slower pace with the same effect. The story for a while gets VERY stat heavy. It does improve though in the later 300s and 400s. The concept is good and if you love MCs who are OP. Personally I enjoyed it so far and will keep reading it. It seems like the author is learning from his mistakes as well so I hope the later chapters get better.
The story is decent overall, I stopped around 200+. The story got boring after a while, with the same plot repeating itself, though check it out and see if you like it.
It was interesting to begin with, I liked MC and the people surrounding him, a very good power fantasy to read. But at around chapter Hundered, it got real boring real quick. the story is still interesting, but the problem is overexplaination. Like bro you have explained this already a hundered times before so get over it and get to some real action. otherwise story is great, the concept is good, the mc is intelligent. I will say this is a good book if you are not troubled by overly explained filler chapters. I will read some more and might edit my review if it gets any better.
I’m enjoying this: the MC is believably smart, ruthless without lacking compassion, and levels easily. The world is pretty interesting, and new elements are revealed slowly as he grows. Even as he grows he still shelters his family (at least to chapter 460), and this realistically poses constraints on the actions he can take. There is no romance so far, and it doesn’t feel like it’s missing. My only complaint is that the author spends far too much time describing skills that the MC is learning or even contemplating learning— to the extent of having multiple chapters in a row consist of the MC listing out his options, or the MC wistfully thinking about his skills for several chapters during a fight.
It’s good lol. The way enemies are introduced is very unique and I don’t know how to feel about it. At this point his enemies snowballed from a bandit leader to a super strong city leader with like 5 dudes in the middle and it just never ends. Kinda wild how all these different people just become connected and nothing stops them from going after the mc.
I don't like leaving a review this early because 100 chapters is not enough to jugde but seeing the other reviews I feel like I should rectify the poor rating. I'll adress the critics of the other reviews. One critic says 7 days for 70 chapters is too short, the author is stretching the story. It's just wrong. Things happen and the author write about it but I never felt like the story isn't advancing. On the contrary, the author doesn't dwell on things and the pace is pretty good. Another critic says the author wants to show the MC as intelligent by reducing the IQ of other people. It's ridiculous because not once I felt that way. First of all, he lives in a poor village which struggles to survive so you can't expect genius level intelligence here. They are regular people who might be smart in the world before the "apocalypse" but the rules have changed and it's hard to adapt. As for the MC, he isn't smarter, he makes plans that work not because he is smart but because he is strong. And with ability, possibilities multiply. The novel so far is good. Not bad and not amazing but an enjoyable read. It can become amazing later because for now it's just the part where the MC discovers the new world and is weak so nothing great happens and the plot is simple: survive. You can read it to forge your opinion because it's not horrible.
