dont waste your time reading this story (no even in machine translations) the author destroy this story at chapter 480+ by suddenly making the mc abandon all lions that see him as the king and escape with a little girl(on she saved in many previous chapter) that suddenly transformed in a elf and the mc go with her to the leg kingdom and transform in an elf too(the author give the most shit reason). Although I know people's people outrage of how bad it is to cut one third of the trial reads chapters and even having the audicity to lock 50% of the chapters, this novel is pretty good. Though there is no actual something ongoing, the story is still pretty good until now. If the 60 chapters came back there would be pretty much a lot of going on in this novel but no, it's cut short at chapter 40. Okay, this novel is good, go try it. This is a review up to chapter 40 of the novel. Once again, I protest the reduction of chapters. That being said, the novel is pretty interesting, super unique setting where the main character is a lion and all the other characters are animals as well. I'm very interested and hope to see humans introduced later on if this gets chosen. That being said, I will say I enjoyed Embers Ad Infinitum (I think that was the name) more than this. Although Embers doesn't have as unique a setting as this novel, it is very well written and I really like the author of Lord of the Mysteries and think the potential is very high, so I still prefer it. In addition, although the setting is unique, I find that that this novel can get a little repetitive and even slightly boring and it's only been 40 chapters (I'm over the leopard and hyenas already)! Although, as it has only been 40 chapters, of course it could improve in the future. Anyways, final conclusion, first choice for selection is Embers, but this is still a pretty good runner up.
Fun Fact: Half the bad comments are about the 60 chapters being reduced to 40 chapters and have nothing to do with the novel, the other half are a mismash of “kinda a review” and gibberish. (Used the fun fact to make you read it.)
let me tell you why I dropped this novel. you see everything is amazing the world building,the idea of of the novel as whole and even the cheat that the mc haves is just right. But the mc himself is the problem here as not only is he a cowrd, immature 🙄😒beyond belief and stupid to an almost mentally challenged level no this isn't the main problem most mc have at least one or two of these . He is a total sissy from acting as human in all his actions in all chapters even in the raws(400+ chapter) to the degree of making me belief him a brain damaged delusional creature to the unconsistancy of him makeing tree shelters,dry preserve food , preserve food with honey and extracting water from trees with the f**King body of a lion how the f**k did he get all the knowledge & experience for that he must have thrown himself in the wild boxing gloves on all limbs living with wild animals in the forest as child right? never being decisive nor acting in comprehensible way of any kind even to the degree of being ordered around by side characters and even a mob of an empire from another world that he helps save them and thre Princess say they will enslave him and make him do there everything from wars to to menial work and ridicule him constantly yet he put up with it as there Queen , the pencess , the assassin, the girl spying on him..etc. are infuriating to the degree of wanting to kill them , there empire and the mc .

Ok so 4star translations its not perfect 3 stars on stability of updates since this company drops theoretically 50% of its novels 1 star on story because its like we are reading a Nature channel with a twist aka mc being human in sprit etc and its stays like this for at least 100 chaps where i just stopped because its just boring to read about animals that do what animals do minus what mc gets them to do etc. 1 star on character design because again its reading on what animals think and how they act................ 1 star on world background because the whole world in 100 chaps is the grasslands

So I was like “oh hey, a novel where the mc reincarnated into an animal. This should be a fun read” But the author had the bright idea to make this novel a tragedy. (If you’ve watched akame ga kill) the mc’s half sister got sheely’ed and chelsea’ed. meaning she got eaten until only her head was left. I thought that was it but the author did it again. This time it was someone younger than the mc who the mc brought along with her mother but the mother got killed protecting her child, said child was then killed because she thought the mc can protect her. Then the mc had the bright idea to turn the child’s killers into his followers. I stopped reading after chapter 200. i don’t want to have depression because of this.
Story is unique from its MC’s animal life progression while having a human soul. However, plot progression is really slow woth no visible direction for the story (150+ Chapters in). Their is a lot of potential with were the sotry can go and makes for a good page turner. I would liken this story to ‘Invincible’ in its simplistic events. In the end I would reccomend reading and staying tuned for the sTory. There is a good chance for it to turn into a very interesting read!
