And yet months later things getting strained.....

This a rough patch, priorities shift

Where problems dissipate, where happiness prances

I don't have to bribe for your smile
It hurts thinking it's been a while
Time alludes, expectations mount
Duty promises I'm bound.
Yet times I hope I can spend on my own
Overlooking life, this hell I've been
thrown
Be there beside me is all I can ask
Not easy Not petty a gargantuan task
