Ru Shi who is of a 'lowly birth', set her eyes on a man out of her reach. One that is destined to marry another woman. With his mother standing between them and his fiance holding tightly onto him, Ru Shi, a lowly descent stands no chance.

Outside the Palace Gate, snow falls heavily; covering the ground up to one's ankle. Stood there waiting, was a woman wearing only a few layers of thin clothes. A thick layer of snow covering her shoulder as she shivers under the chilly wind of Winter. After waiting for the whole day, her wandering eyes lands on a man wearing a warm think cost. As soon as she saw him, her eyes brighten. Unknowingly, she starts running towards him. Leaning into his embrace, Ru Shi wraps her arms around Mu Qing Shan's waist and whispers to him.

"I heard you will be leaving..."
