Legend amongst the Stars

At the dusk of the twenty-fourth century on Earth; finite resources, overpopulation and rising political tensions between the CoDominium Alliance, the unified planetary government, and the Confederate Independent Nations lead to the ratification of the "Diaspora Project", a top secret plan to attempt colonizing the stars. To prepare they devise a vocational aptitude test in the guise of the eagerly anticipated VRMMO, "Legends of the Stars".

James E. Kelly is a twenty-six year old veteran that is left without purpose after receiving an injury during combat against Confederate forces. Now he's back in the hometown he ran away from as a younger man and lacks purpose in his life. However the launch of a new VR game could be the answer to all his problems, even the ones he refuses to face.
