this book has 3 things that i love, scythes, skill assimilation and good humor. has a little sexual content (can be skipped over) but not a main focus or even a minor one. Has a little mystery mixed in with harem routes that he seems to have little to no interest in except his wife and cute cuddly animals.

Let's be clear, this novel is "A Snake's Rise" ffrom royal road right ? Or at least it's a fan-fic from it ? Because the scenario is ppretty much EXACTLY the same... If that's the case, please precise it in the description, have to make homage

This book is quite good with plenty of characters and world building the first volume. The second volume has little world building but more action and systems and athat, so is good too. Could be better if there were more world building? Or maybe you have our plan already.
Overall i like this novel. Common theme but it acceptable. Here some advise from me as experience reader not writer so you can accet it or deny it. Please make some limit for his system more precisely that devour part, if you keep it like this way. The story will die so soon cause you will run out idea how to make it keep move on. I recommend you read castle of black iron, it will give you better way to put limitation for devour part on system. Tks for your novel anyway.

Quite a good story , the system is a savege btw xD mc is trying to get back to his wife on earth after dying by god hand , and got an op skill that gives him the stats of the monsters he kills - so lets watch the mc devour monsters xD
