Micro-Chipped Assassin

Maya Stone thought she was helping to take down criminals when she had the chip implanted in her brain. And she was.
But when she discovers blueprints in her boss' office for an army of microchipped assassins, and then she is double-crossed and nearly killed by her own partner, she begins to doubt what she was really thinking. Microchipped and injured, she flees the relative safety of High City for the slums of Low Country, where no one will ever think to find her.
But she finds a group of people just like her - and begins to accept more than what she bargained for.
