He ought to stop them with their madness, waiting for the right and perfect timing until at that exact moment of the ritual, a sacrifice survived. A dark elf--elves being the favorite sacrifice of the demons--miraclelously survived.

Gusion deemed to rescue her from the hands of the fanatic believers, offer her his aid in exchange of studying her and the dark magic that saved her in order to stop this madness and cease them from making more sacrifices.

Only that, it has been a word throughout the Land of Dawn that the dark elf was needed to be killed upon sight as dangerous dark magic reigning through her veins.
