Synopsis

In this world there are two types of people, Elementals and Absents, Elementals are born with the ability to control elements and Absents are not. The elements are governed by Elemental Deities, who determine if an Elemental is worthy enough to become their Contractee. In this world, the great nations of Euria, Drakovia, Ortega, Lazerus, and Necrosis, choose their strongest Elementals to become their nations Avatar or general of their rulers’ armies. Once a Deity has chosen his/her Elemental, a pact is made through a special device called an Embodiment Orb, which allows the Elemental to draw power from their Deity and allows the Deity to infuse their power into their Elemental, allowing their bodies to become one. The drawback, however, is that the rulers of these nations are in control of the Embodiment Orbs and can call upon their Avatar to wage war for them at any time.

Eighteen years following the Great Cataclysm, the nations of Euria have been at peace. The Lord of Necrosis, Mephis, has grown impatient and angered due to the poor economical drawbacks his kingdom has taken since the war. He decides to use the power of his Avatar, Sin, to start a nationwide war with all of their surrounding nations in order to reclaim power. Sin, and his Elemental Deity, Thanatos, are our in the middle of the conflict, and must choose to work together in order to stop Mephis before he claims world domination.

I liked, just some parts got me confused, but the story also helps to keep the flow of it. I highly recommend it. The first chapter caught my curiosity of what will happen next, and I asked myself how the characters ended in that situation.
