Emily is a kind and energetic daughter at home, while her dad is a shut-in and washed-up scientist. She, while not his legitimate daughter, inherited many traits of his, such as his intellect and shy attitude. As soon as she steps out the door, however, she becomes a bullied and quiet girl. She nevered bothered telling on the girls, though, because she never liked confrontation. Today, though, was different, as she wasn't approached by her assailants. She did, however, meet the boy who would change her way of thinking, and life, for good.
