My System is Trying to Kill Me

Forced to live on the streets Nico made his money by picking purses and stealing food. Everything changed one day when he stole a small fortune and was able to unlock his custom system. However, he is in for a rude awakening when he discovers that his system is not anything like normal systems and seems determined to kill him! Living the life of a criminal, Nico struggles to survive with seemingly both the world and his own system against him.

MC starts out as a relatively kind person whose sanity slowly fades away as his system makes him commit more and more atrocious acts to survive. Watch as Nico changes from a young boy trying to survive, to a sadistic killer.
The setting is similar to Midevil European with a few differences.
This is my first novel and I'm not amazing at grammar so I will have mistakes here and there. Feel free to leave comments on anything that doesn't make sense and ill do my best to respond.
