I was surprised by the little BTTH fanfic there is so I decided to make one.
I'll try to make it as normal-paced as it could be, no ultra-fast cultivation here, no system.

Many self insert wish fulfilment fanfics give MC way too much power from wishes at the start; this fic does the exact opposite. The MC chosen wishes given him almost the exact same "cheats" that the original MC of Btth (Xiao yan) had with the exception of a wise old disembodied teacher. Those who've read btth know that the original MC had pretty crappy cheats and survived by the skin of his teeth due to plot armor. At the same time he was often beaten like a stray dog by stronger enemies and relied on bodyguards to cover his a$$. Not really something that would leave you feeling accomplished.
Where do I even begin? This novel is literally Cool Anime System all over again, for those of you that remember it. I've only read 2 chapters and I immediately knew it. The hype for this novel is very stupid and I feel like giving an actual review that doesn't make me sound brain dead. Grammar - Holy ****. Why is 'that' spelled 'taht'? You don't even need to be an English major to know 'that'. There aren't any commas, ever. Don't even give me that 'English isn't his primary language'. My Spanish is sub-par at best and you don't see me writing novels in it. This desperately needs an editor ~ 1 Star Story Development - I racked my brains on this and I can't tell how the author thought that these were even decent wishes. Who on Earth would not wish to be overpowered? The point of reincarnating in novels is because you desire something. In this novel, he desires to struggle pointlessly because he is literally mentally challenged. ~ 1 star Character Design - Everyone speaks like a 1st or 2nd grader. I haven't read much but I don't wish to know more. When they speak like they or someone else is talked when they can barely talk right, it just doesn't come off as convincing nor impressive. In the end, this goes back to grammar. ~ 1 Star World Background - Kinda difficult to rate world background for a fan fic. After all, all they are doing is taking the background from another novel and pasting it onto this novel soo... ~ 2 stars The only thing somewhat decent about this novel is the update rate. It's at least daily so that's an easy 4 star. I hope this clarified some things.

I liked it allot when i first started, then i found my self skimming allot. Mainly because the author was making filler chapters that could have been summed up in 3 words like "He killed a beast" not a whole chapter about him killing a beast that does nothing for the story other then allowing the author to complete a chapter. The Mc wished for the knowledge of alchemy, with that knowledge it would allow the MC to become the best alchemist ever. Yet the MC wont take any pills, he is trying to "Strengthening his cultivation" first. But what it feels like is that the Author is using that as an excuse to slow down the cultivation of the MC so that Xiao Yan can catch up to the MC and they can be buddy buddy and hold hands while going on adventures together. I will keep reading it but so far The Author is nurfing the MC so that Xiao Yan can catch up. And that's just fuc king dumb. The author did say the the MC would have a boost in his cultivation soon. I will keep reading it but if it stays the same where the MC is trying to be really buddy buddy with Xiao Yan making it almost seem like hes the actually MC in this story and not Hao Shen. So far I'm not liking the way its turning out, you may but i don't. Again i will keep reading it since it has just started. And pray that the MC stops being a little ***** and get stronger. Instead of trying to wait for Xiao Yan so he can hold his hand.
Got bored reading it, I rather read the original cause it has long word count,story was slow pace , fanfic should be op mc ,not retarded mc /lame wish
the protagonist is a person who reincarnated and his mentality regressed to that of a fetus and apparently after reincarnating the protagonist manifested the "Santa Claus syndrome"

Grammar is very bad, which makes this quite hard to read. The first chapter is rather bland, telling us about the circumstances of the MC but not displaying any of his emotions or character traits. I'm unsure if this is indicative of the entire novel, but it does indicate that the author has not followed the "show don't tell" principle of literary writing.
5 star for the release updates and the story doesn't have any plotholes, different scenario and different plotline, good character design, I don't care if the MC is super op or weak as long as the story is good and doesn't have plotholes it's a good story, for readers it all comes down to preference and opinions, even if it's a golden novel there will always be some haters.

It's good but i dont like how the Author is forcing the Mc to stagnate so he can interact more with Xiao Yan. Added Xiao Yan would have gone way past this Mc if Xiao Yan's battle qi wasn't stolen. Not that I'm saying the story's bad. But I'm still giving this a low rating.

Cool novel. Finally, a decent BTTH fan-fic with stable updates. Hope the story continues for 500+ chapters. Most chapters have some typos though. Some proofreading would greatly improve the quality.

I like that you have created a new story line while keeping the original, I think that a fan fic that only make small changes to the main line are in my opinion the best, because allรญ of uso are fans and Just because we have a diferents things that we like and hate of it but we all like the storyas it is

Nah I'm out. I just don't like cultivation novels with weak Mc. ๐๐ I don't want to be rude so I'll just rate 4 star ๐. I don't really like Mc being treated as a genius but generally weak so he's not really a genius.only special on him is his title as an mc. Hahahaha
