Shameless Author review. Faith is my new dragon girl novel. If you like dragons and like girls, you will like this novel. If you don't like dragons or girls, you will still like this novel. So give it a read!

Invayne is one of my favorite authors, and this story doesn't disappoint. The main character, Faith, much like Invayne's other female leads, is the type to not really have any qualms in killing if it is to protect those she cares about. Although, she hasn't had to kill any intelligent beings at the time of this review, but it is implied several times that she is more than willing. Other characters, such as her family, are also being developed well. As of this review, the world building hasn't gotten too far, but appears to be taking shape at least. In the end, this looks to be a great upcoming novel from Invayne, and I look forward to seeing where it will go from here.

Minor Spoilers ahead, nothing truly earthshattering. So far (as of chapter 26) an amazing story. I really like the MC because she has an actual brain and uses it instead of other MCs that are either brainless idiots or supernatural geniuses in everything. Her family too is very cool, and their interactions are heartwarming and wholesome. The antagonists so far are pretty good too as long as the main issue (racism) so far won't stay the only problem. The only minor problem I had so far, was with the very beginning, with the brief look into the future that was a little confusing but once I got into it I couldn't stop. My main fear now is the romance plot/tag. By now, there hasn't been anything besides her making hints that she's into boys (she once said she imagined the hot male leads while reading) which is honestly a shame because well yuri is just the best ;). Anyway, as long as it's organic (and not some soulmate stuff like the other dragon girl story of the author) and the romance with the love interest will develop naturally over time, I'm pretty sure nothing will be able to get me to drop this.

This review is taking into account everything up to chapter 100. Spoilers will be included, and this may be a little long so I can explain myself with nuance. This story as a whole so far is somewhat average, but has some good setups that can easily shoot it's quality up above other novels on the site with a little reflection. The story's handling of species discrimination, the MC's inherent circumstances by birth, and the resulting precautions taken to protect her set a nice tone for the world the MC finds herself in. The entire arc before the MC sets out from home is fairly strong in my opinion. I'd suggest any potential readers hang on till that point to see if the story is for you. -Writing quality and character design is solid besides things I mentio in spoilers below. -World background and story development are limited for now as the story is still taking off. So these will improve over time. -Updating stability also seems solid to me. SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT----------------- After this point is where I'd say I could see areas for improvement. The biggest issue I see is with "balancing" the character's personalities. It becomes very noticable that characters are very binary in their personalities. Some examples: People either like demihumans or absolutely despise them. Soldiers and their commanding officers are either very competent or worthless on the battlefield. People either LOVE or HATE the MC. And whatever binary opinion they have not only tends to be intense, but also immediate. For example, the characters that fall in love with the MC all do so on first contact and make it fairly obvious. They'll then go far out of their way for her, taking her side on every issue without caution or repremanding her for things she could have handled better, or turning on nobility that were their friends beforehand because of some slight towards the MC. Characters that dislike the MC also come out of the gate with beef, usually with a disgusted facial expression, and cannot wait to make themselves a speed bump for the MC asap. Focusing on adding nuace to characters such as indifference, indecisiveness, naivety, indirectness, tunnel vision towards their individual goal, having slight opinions that can be changed over time, having the intensity of feelings/opinions grow over time, and many more aspects of individuality can go a LONG way in improving the depth of the characters in this story, making them more interesting, giving them more room for character development, and creating more opportunities for the author to create more unique hurdles for the cast to overcome as they interact with one another, as well as the the tactics they employ to overcome those hurdles. As a side effect, it can also help avoid the "self-insert" feeling that everything in the plot solely revolves around the MC that I read in other comments, as other characters will have their own things going on rather than interacting with the MC. Something else I noticed was the weird interactions that started popping up between men and women in the novel. It seems there is a sort of "barrier" that emerged especially when interacting with the MC. For instance the different treatments of the prince and princess. Both came on to the MC pretty hard on the first meeting (refer back to the previous paragraph about sudden, intense emotions or opinions towards MC) but, arguably, the princess FAR oversteps her brother in terms of pushiness, overstepping personal space, and "quirkiness" such as wiping saliva from MC then licking it in front of her... 😀, but this was, admittedly, sort of waved off among other things due to her similarities with MC's past friend. Now, whatever romance or character quirkiness the author intends to add to the story... is 100% all right! It gives that character uniqueness to others in the plot, HOWEVER, it becomes weird when other males overstep much less, yet get reproached at the beginning; the MC has made it VERY clear that she is annoyed by and wants nothing to do with any of the boys who have approached her with this intent. This would be fine, if the MC had any backstory of having issues with men, such as another character in the story, but it seems like the only issue was her friend trying to push her into having a relationship. This makes it appear something else is going on and invokes the quote: "The lady doth protest too much, methinks". Long story short, be careful with this, as it divides the cast's interactions and limits the roles characters can perform. Males tend to show up as hurdles, villains, or a useful set of hands and females ALL become love interests. IIRC the only males the MC likes are her brother and father, while the only females she DOESN'T like are a few villagers and noble girls that disliked her for her race. With respect to the MC specifically, I would say she could use more attention to her draconic characteristics as this is a main point of the story. We've got the attraction to shiny stuff and the appearance, but it seems she doesn't focus much on her tail and wings besides cleaning them or wearing clothes. She doesn't fly around too much or use her tail a lot as an extra limb for fighting or other things. Don't get me wrong, SHE HAS, but I feel there could be more attention to her dragon and "other half" of her blood's traits AND WEAKNESSES, especially if she's going to keep evolving. The story seems to focus on just the fact that she's a demihumans and not a dragon (+other). And then how will her unique race affect other dragon (+other) hierarchies? But that's all just an opinion. Anything else I'd caution about are things I'd warn anyone writing an Isekai: -the story needs a "big bad" that will keep pressure on the story to keep moving and the characters to keep growing or else the plot will slow down into solely slime of life and lose aspects of other things it has going for it. -the story has a large focus on racial tensions, so there's gotta be a history written about why they formed and eventually a giant conflict about it. -MC is developing an "I gotta do it all" attitude. She's got the raw fighting power, magical power and interest in magic research, acting, business and inventing merchandise, commanding armies because it's fun, and I think she mentioned traveling the word, but I don't know how she'll do that if she's tied to the country as a knight. There are only so many areas a character can divide their time between before it starts straining the story. Hopefully I'm not overstepping with all of this, but I think these are some ways the story can improve further. But some things mentioned here might have already been resolved in the chapters after 100 as well. Wishing the author the best, if anything, hopefully my rambling gives them some good ideas, ESPECIALLY if they bothered reading all this! Thanks for your time!

Hi author living you novel, as I love all your works. But, there is a romance tag but not Yuri tag so, it won’t be Yuri right? Not that I have anything against that but I would love if there was a male love interest

Hi, leaving this here for those wondering about specific tags, mainly the romance/yuri questions. So spoilers, I guess After a while in (300+ chapters) this turns into a Bi-Harem story complete with marriage, so if you are looking for yuri and no dudes, or looking for dudes and no yuri, or hoping for no romance at all, this is obviously not the story for you. If you're into that kind of thing or simply dont mind it, have fun and happy reading.

Same as the author's other novels. Just noticed it now but all of author's novels don't seem to have any 'serious' vibes. Like it's more on shounen if we're going by the genre. The characters also seem a little unrealistic and gives the vibe of 'fairy tale' like story. There are no gray lines or complex schemes and plots. Just plain old friend and enemy. In addition, everything seems to go the mc's way. To sum it all up, there's no realism at all. As for interactions, the phrases used in communicating are a little off-putting and somehow unnatural. I can't really explain it but if you really speak english then you'd know what I'm talking about. [ the conversations seem artificial, fake, or whatever you want to call it ] Verdict? Well, it's good for a leisure read to pass time. As for those who like more serious vibe, solid plot, charac interactions, and grammar ( like reverend insanity or lotm ) then this is not for you. This novel seems to cater for low to mid teenagers. (13-17).

I don't know how to write a proper review so I'ma just rant. The story is fun and does something I don't see often, they show how they grow from birth and how they interact with there family. unlike quite a few stories you can see there family and who they are. there is some plot armour but nothing too unreal with how the story goes. ♾️ MP is going to be crazy no matter how you make it unless you make them a swordsman only and then that's a waist. fun thing in this is the mc is practical and thinks about there actions for more then 2 steps ahead of themselves (literally 2 steps ahead). the mc can be reckless and a little crazy but that just makes them fun. there is a lot of racism but the mc has a great A+ support network and you get to see them have a good life for a bit. overall the story is good, has a good update time that is very consistent. you need a privilege to read the last few chapters but that is just a boost and are at most 10 days ahead. I think I spotted a few misspelled words but I would not be able to pinpoint them but they are few and far in-between. the characters are good and are not going to do a 270° change 5 times in 3 seconds unless they are acting. the story develops at a good pace and won't find 18 chapters dedicated to 1 day / fight. you learn about the world the same time the mc does so if it's a surprise to the mc it is to you as well.

At the risk of being hammered by invayne fans, I wanted to write this review. Like pretty much all of invayne's novels, this one suffers from poor pacing, poorly thought out power escalations, and characters getting constantly introduced and then barely paid attention too. Spoilers to follow. Adel and Sophie go from interesting characters to 2D paper cutout waifus, just like most harem novels. A demon is introduced, and then another, only for them to suddenly be thrust out as possible love interests. The "stakes" go from bandits to corrupt nobles, to world ending machinery in some very short chapters. and I mean very short. There's a lot of chapters, but not a lot of content because most of it is repeated and ranted about, especially by the MC Faith. This brings about another problem. Faith and her life goes from silly to deadly serious and back again at breakneck speed. I was constantly experiencing "narrative whiplash" as we go from "rescue someone you love" to "haha, silly cuddles" all at the same time. I will give them credit where it's due, the writing style and quality is pretty good with only a few errors here and there, and the updates are consistent and constant. I think the updates are probably due to the fact that Webnovel pushes writers to keep doing so to keep their novel relevant, highly rated, and therefore profitable. I won't fault any writer for that, especially not one who is a decent writer and has a passion for their novel, which I think invayne does have. In summary: Keep doing your best invayne, don't let my opinion change you, it's just your novels are not for me. And all of that is after I spent so much time reading, lol.

I’m just being honest here After chapter 100 there’ basically no story development at first I was hella interested in this story but then I saw the signs of slow romance and yuri So I had to insta drop it at most this story is only a 4 The characters and stroy background are good the character writing overall isn’ that bad other than there is no development like I’m reading 200 chapter and a dumb character is even dumber example is where the prince first came along he was introduced as a dumb naive prince then 100-200 chapters later he hasn’t changed one bit other than his magic and and skills other that

Another great Invayne work. I'd say the story starts a lot better than Kana's (the other dragon girl system story). Things are going really well and for as far as the story is released so far it looks like we're in for some spicy stuff. I'll just say that while it might be a super important part of the story, currently the future sight stuff is very distracting and I'd prefer the story without.

This was the first novel i read after installing webnovel and it's amazing 😄(I'm on chapter 42 currently) .It's Well written and I love how the MC is OP but isn't dumb and thinks things thru but at the same time isn't boring😍. The only thing i don't like is that You have to either pay to unlock chapters or wait and get free fast passes but i guess it's expected in a novel of this quality [img=fp]😔.

Whenever I have something to say I just drop a review with a 5 star rating so that the authors cannot complain no matter what I say. This author loves systems lol. Plus dragon girls. Hopefully one without yuri this time? That gets boring fast. I’ll probably get flamed by yuri fans for that. Whelp time to read the new dragon girl system :D life ain’t life without a dragon girl with a system, am I right or am I right?

Has a great free section. The story makes good use of time jumps near the beginning. Main plot slows down dramatically after free section with many side quests that I didn't care for. I love the MC, her companions are okay, but I'm not a fan of her having her companions be with her 24/7, one of which has a will they won't they romantic tension with MC (which I'm also not personally a fan of) Free section has few grammar errors and typos but it increases in paid section. Good story but author's dream of it is not what I was enjoying and hoping for it. Good one to at least give a try.
