Synopsis

Kai Tensen’s life ends in a freak accident, only for him to wake up as a newborn in a completely different world filled with magic, danger, and a “System” providing him with information and secrets of the world. But his second chance at life takes a deadly turn when he discovers the truth: he’s the first necromancer in over 500 years, and the world will do anything to see him destroyed.
Hunted by the fanatical Inquisition, Kai must outwit bounty hunters, corrupt mages, and even gods themselves to survive.
As Kai’s strength grows, so does the danger. Each step into his newfound powers tests his humanity, forcing him to confront questions of loyalty, betrayal, and the cost of his ambition.
But with whispers of a divine conspiracy and ancient relics that could shatter the gods’ control, Kai realizes his fight isn’t just for survival. It’s for revolution.
In a world that brands him a monster, Kai vows to outlive his supressors. If they want a villain, he’ll give them one. The gods called him a curse and the church called him evil, but he’ll prove he’s their reckoning.

Author's Notes:
As you may know, I'm also the author of Fractured Horizon, a slightly futuristic fantasy/sci-fi novel about mutated human monsters and psychics that battle them. I also wrote My Undeath, a reincarnation novel set in a fantasy world. It wasn't my best work, but I loved writing the story.
I put a lot more time and effort into Reborn with a Necromancer System, and ironed out the details for a while, plotting approximately 500 chapters for all of you, but this novel could likely reach 1-2k chapters. If you liked either of my other two novels, this novel has a lot more planned for it than the other two.

Disclaimers:
1. This world is not like Earth. Applying common sense to some basic principles is pointless.
2. There are not any planned harems, but perhaps multiple love interests.
3. Although the main character has a necromancer system, we don't go straight into that. There's a bit of a slow burn, a learning curve for Kai, and he is just a baby when he starts, so give it some time to build up to it. He's not just going to be raising armies of undead while less than a year old.

Inspiration:
D&D is a huge inspiration for this. And I have played as a necromancer-like character in dozens of games, read several books that had necromancers as either the main character, or the antagonist. Death has always been something that has interested me when it comes to my fiction, so I am hoping to share that with all of you.

This story seems to catch your attention pretty quickly and leaves you wanting to read more! I can’t wait for more chapters to be out and see what will happen to the main character. The story and theme is quite interesting and engaging, and I am really enjoying the way the author is narrating the point of view of the main character from unusual perspectives we do not often get to read in books. Definitely a good read
So, if you like the concept of Necromancy and System, I recommend this novel. I should especially mention that the great inspiration from DND was enough to bring the novel to the forefront in my eyes. The main character seems to be a colourful person and the main plot of the novel is quite interesting.

From the very first page, the novel captured my imagination. The story hooks you in with a gritty end to our Mc in his own world. He dies with regrets..... Fortunately he's given another chance. I'd say after reading this I have become a fan of the novel it has a good pace to its story some nice writing and genuinely makes you wonder about every chapter without too much happening in them overall it's a 10/10 hopefully i get to see more of the story.😄

It’s early so still hard to say, but it’s generally well written. It gives very similar energy to Supreme Magus if you like that novel, though given the title and synopsis, it’s likely to take a much different direction. If you like that novel, it seems likely you’ll like this one
We all love necromancy. I love it too, thanks to Solo Leveling. Novels with necromancy have always been one my favorites, and I even wanted to add some necromancy to my own novel. Although there are only four chapters so far, the writing is solid, with no grammatical mistakes or inconsistencies. The author has managed to bring out the personalities of multiple characters within just four chapters, which definitely requires skill. A good novel! highly recommended to everyone!

A really good story so far, the first 22 chapters are good and easily bingeable because of the author's formatting. they post daily too it seems so it doesnt look like you'll run out of chapters anytime soon! Good job author keep it up!

Overall a good book. Writing quality is solid and very few noticeable mistakes. Any inconsistencies are patched by the author upon mentioning. Very cool concept and generally well done. Only problem is main character is naive and dumber than a doorknob. Despite being 43 (35 + 8) by around chapter 44 when I stopped reading, Kai continues to make incredibly naive mistakes and the same mistakes multiple times. Some slow growth is obtained but it seems like every few chapters he resets. So not a bad story, but very difficult to read due to main character.
This will be my third ever shameful review, as this is also the third novel I've started writing on Webnovel. Reborn with a Necromancer System, or RNS, is the story of a man who goes through many trials, and I'm really proud of the amount of work that has gone into this novel, the world, and everything about it. You'll see love, loss, revenge, grief, joy, sadness, and plenty of anger. I hope everyone enjoys reading just as much as I've loved writing it.
