The day Claire was accused of cheating on her rich CEO husband and divorced was the day she found out she was pregnant.
“How could you?” He demanded gritting his teeth.
She fell down to her knees tears brimming. “P-please it is n-not true.”
He flung the pictures at her and it felt like a slap to her face.
There she was naked with a man she had never met.
She frantically began to shake tears rolling down her eyes. “T-this is n-not true.”
He looked at her with disgust and then he flung a document at her.
She opened it and saw it was a divorce document.
“Sign it.” He instructed standing in his immaculate Giorgio Armani suit.
She burst into tears. “Nick p-please I-
“SIGN IT!” He ordered. “Or I would make your entire miserable family suffer!”
She shakingly picked up the pen and signed the paper.
He snapped his fingers and then his guard picked up the papers.
“Get out.” He said. “I never want to see you again.”
After being thrown out of the mansion under the rain, she fainted and woke up in the hospital.
“W-what am I doing here?” She asked.
The doctor smiled at her. “You need to be more careful in your pregnancy.”
“Pregnancy?” She asked in disbelief.
“Yes you are four weeks and two days pregnant.” The doctor said.
Claire wrapped her arms around her stomach.
This was Nick’s baby. Her husband who had just divorced her.
He could never find out about her secret.
