Shadow possession apocalypse system

When the apocalypse started, 95% of the population turned into zombies... Jared Night, who has always had a weak constitution with a presence as shallow as a shadow; was one of the unlucky humans who had a body that turned at the start of the apocalypse.

Jared wakes up after the start of the apocalypse as a wandering shadow with two different screens visible in each eye. In his left eye: "Welcome host to the apocalypse as a sentient survivor." In his right eye: "Welcome host to the apocalypse as a newborn monster."

With the perks as both a survivor and a hunter (monster), how will Jared live in this new world without a body to call his own?
