Siphoning Magic

Jeri has spent her life in survival mode, trained to use her powers as a weapon against the consortium, but that was all before. Now she's had a taste at a semi-normal life with her biggest worries being how to keep her underage brother from sneaking booze from her ex-girlfriends bar. The last thing she needs is for him to drag them back into the mess that is paranormal politics but that's exactly where she ends up when he finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Now Jeri has to learn to navigate everything she thought she knew about own abilities, herself and everyone she loves. Is it too much for a girl to ask for a few moments of peace?
