Synopsis
Chapters release schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Sixteen playing cards were presented to every student in the Cafeteria. There was less then a minute to choose, and all confusion was silenced with the appearance of a enormous sword in one students hand upon choosing a role. Soon, the cards were disappearing as more and more eager participants took their roles.
Zeno Hiyiwet sees opportunity in places where others seen nothing, choosing the unlikely Jester card. It is a gamble he is willing to take, as its a role that rewards the players wit. Just then, a monster appeared, and to the horror of the student's completely devoured the body of a disliked cafeteria assistant in one go, leaving behind a skeleton of its former owner.
The world was no longer the same, monsters and everything expected from a video game were now reality. In a haunting survival of the fittest world, Zeno is forced to make life or death choose with every step he takes.

Disclaimer: I gave stability of updates 5 stars because it wouldn't allow me to submit my review with rating that too. I know when a story is going to be good when I read one, first chapter is fire, introduces as much information as possible, and the pacing is somehow not bad even though so much has happened in a single episode. One thing I dislike about most webnovels is how bad the writing is, unique writing bad wording, that maybe the case because a lot of them are translations, but so far there aren't any noticeable grammar or spelling mistakes. We are given little information but not too little to the point we don't understand anything, conveying information is important in writing. The character is realistic, he hears something happening, what would a normal human do? Hide, which is what he did. He saw some weird alien thingy's coming in and also saw his peers run to the entrance, what does he do? Join them. I was surprised when he ran away, because what most system authors in webnovel would have done is let him stay and fight the monster and gain some bs superpowers that would make him better then everybody else. That's an automatic 5 stars for me, also I would like to talk about how much is written in the episode, there isn't too much or too little writing. It might be to early to rate this a 5 star but if the author keeps on going defiantly will be on my top 10 novels.
A good storyline, the characters are fascinating to an extent that grabs the readers attention. A beautiful picture is created through these words. Overall a nice novel.

This story looks so unique! without spoiling anything, I love that the main character made a decision that seemed counterintuitive, so I really hope it pays off for them! I can’t wait for more chapters!
