Doomsayers from time immemorial have tried to predict and speculate how the world would end, and if it did end...would something come after? Would it end in hail and brim stone? Pestilence and disease? Nuclear holocaust? The return of a deity?

What if instead of anything grand, all it took was a lab researcher who invented a time machine and the world as we know it disappeared... and then what would she see on the other side of that portal? Would she ever be able to reverse this anticlimactic apocalypse...and would she even want to?
