The Dark Awakening: The Thorns of Eternity

Jonah Machij is a student at the Nightfallen School, in the Mesoamerican city of Mordred, in the country located on the border between southeastern Mexico and western Guatemala called Arthurah.


When Jonah turned 16 years old, his country was invaded by the Villain Appius (read: Affius) and his School was massacred after Appius defeated all the heroes on the country's borders.


Then, Jonah decides to confront Appius, and thus awakens the manipulation of the sun, making him able to fight back against Appius.
