Synopsis
Whitney Warmer had a simple dream to be happy and keep her siblings safe. But her father chooses to leave a bounden for her owing his tyrant boss, secretly known as the Devil, a huge sum of money.
Kevin Smart, everyone's nightmare, popularly known as the devil. Rich, handsome, but ruthless. Mercy is a word that did not exist in his dictionary. He grew up without love and trust. He destroys whoever betrays him. Mr. Warmer, his formal Secretary, sold the trade secret of his company to a competitor causing the company to lose out on a billion dollar deal. Although Mr. Warmer dead before Kevin could touch him, Kevin was unwilling to let it go. So his wrath was taken out on his children.
Whitney was the oldest, and she protected her younger siblings. If she were destroyed, the others would be miserable.
So he singled her out. But why does his heart skip a beat anytime there is tears in her eyes?

The Author wasted no time in captivating me off with the intriguing synopsis~ The writing style is pretty good while the first few chapters are enough to hook the reader in to find out what happens! Great Job Author ^^ [img=recommend][img=update]

It's so well written that the story captures and consumes you from the get go. More than that I found the character building standing out. I'm intrigued by both the hero and heroine, their slightly muddled dynamic and how this would play out. Certainly going to read further to find out.
This is quite an interesting story to read. The author has done a decent job bringing the characters to life. I can really sympathize with the FL—she's not having things easy, but it's great that she has spunk and resilience, and she's not just waiting for someone to save her. Apart from the grammatical errors (at times quite obvious ones), the story is easy to read and understand. Welldone👍
The story captures your heart from the very beginning, Whitney is a very impressive FL, if you're into strong FLs like me then don't hesitate to pick up this story!

Fascinating! This story is so full of emotions that I can't even explain it. The struggles of the kids totally wrecked my heart. Its pace, writing style everything is up to par. This is the one story which can get you hooked up from the get go. Well done, Author! Hope you keep up the work.
I've read 14 thus far and won't stop there(I'll continue later). So far, I love the mindset of the characters(it really resembles their age). The pacing is good, and there aren't information loads forced. I haven't encountered any critical writing problems. As for the plot, it's good and really soothing to read(it's fixed). The only downfall is the low chapter release rate.

Great start to the story, intrguing characters. I feel like the dialogue could be improved a lot more. The sentences are also too tightly packed together for the purpose of a webnovel (e.g need more broken up paragraphs - too many lines clumped together) The dialogue should be clearly separated as well for ease of reading. Going past that, the lack of description of the environment makes it hard for the reader to actually picture how the scene looks like in their head. Not saying you have to go overboard, but needs a bit more words of description to help the reader along in defining the scene.
The sypnosis grabs my attention immediately, and I'm already interested in what happens next. Very good book—excellent book. The writing is good, and the development isn't rushed by any chance.
The writing quality is ok. It sometimes switches between past and present tense which is a little startling, but it doesn't subtract from the overall plotline. The story is easy to digest but some of the scenarios are wordy. If the grammar is cleaned up and the sentences are a little more compact, the reading experience will be more enriched. Also, it was a little difficult to picture the city setting as a whole. But the characters are ok. They're still developing, so I don't have a favorite character yet (but I do dislike--in the sense that I am enjoying the plotline--the ML. He's just doing what he needs to do, but, like, still...). There's a lot to look forward to.
You got enemies to lovers AND mafia? Consider me sold! Love the characters. Writing is superb. Already a great story in the making.

Aye, what a heavy writing style! I got hooked with the sad story tbh Even though the decor is not often described, I can picture every single character, they have a strong personality and that's what makes most of the quality of this novel~ Like this story so far, nice work
The story is great! The writing style is unique to hook the reader in the first chapters. But I didn't like how you pictured the FC as a sweet, innocent little angel, those are a bit...cliche? But hey, that's just my opinion, the story is great so far and I'm looking forward to how this ends. Kudos to the author!
